I am a hunter and a die hard shooter I love guns. I go to a very liberal school were every thinks guns are evil and they kill people. I am entirely against this and would like to hear what other people say about guns or argue about how they are used.

Are you calling me really freaky because I like swords? Really am I any different than someone who hunts? I don't go killing animals I just like that kind of weaponary better. It takes a lot of work to be able to use something like that proficiently just so you know.

In America there is already a huge blackmarket. And that is where most of the weapons used in violent crimes come from. More crimes are committed with illegal weapons than legal. A better concern would be to control that black market than control guns more strictly.
I think America have put their foot in it way to deeply to simply regulate guns now. I am pro gun control but I almost feel like the only way now is make bolt action rifle ownership compulsary and then start educating children on why you don't need one and why they're dangerous etc. And then hope for the best over the next few generations.
The gun is a device that can be used for both good and evil and we as people can't control that, as for hunting im not really into killing something that isn't very hard to kill I wouldn't mind hunting a challenge for reasons like over population of the animal.
I am against guns. Ok, ok. They can be used for self-defence, but if they weren't invented, would people rob with screwdivers? I don't thinks so. They should send to jail criminals, not shoot them the momment they see him, because it could even be a misunderstanding. (but sir, I was coming to see your daughter!)
Police go to great lengths not to shoot most criminals dont die that way and the guy i was talking about wasnt a cop he was some messed up gy who didnt like being threatened.
Guns are for Wars. Anything else is a responce to some one cheating. There are countries that have a ban on fire arms. Unfortunatly, if some one gets ahold of them, they are top dog for a wile.
It's better to educate people on weapons. It should be part of health class in the 4th grade. If people understand guns, they won't shoot themselves with them. 20 Years ago, you could bring a gun to school for show and tell. What has changed? We keep letting minorities in our schools, lol j/k. No really, what has changed?
