Fist of all, all way's make a bank first to speed up the process. Then make a forge. Set spawn to repeat and turn on Power. The make a generator and then a Armory. Set the Armory to Power. Unleash a couple A 25 Romans and turn on Rally to defend yourself for bit. Then fully upgrade all of your buildings(you will have to spawn more A-25's while your upgrading.) OK so now that you have upgraded you can now attack. Leave some defense behind. When you in take some Gladiators with you. Also bring some anti tank units with you. And some airborne machines to stop the Black queens. No bring in some firepower. You may have to repeat the process a few times. Keep doing it until they go down. Arsenal Strike Now make a bank, then an outpost, and two armories. Set both of the armories on the men. No set up some defenses and upgrade you buildings. When they all done move in with some tanks. Leave a few tanks behind to guard also. Take in a lot of infantry with you.they should be taken down easily if you overwhelm the enemy. Keep spawning Arsenal until they go down.
Lots of times, by the time I mass chronites...in safe skies, the other team is massing hovers, and unfortunately even with no air support on either side, they just have too many hovers to kill, and they rushed them too fast for my chronites to get a head start...
well, use no rally autoroman to draw fire and slowly maneuver your chronites. Push tiny bits and immediately tell them to hold position!
Chronites are three times cheaper then hovers, even when I have same number I could always win if the enemy has any hover. Just one blow the enemy mass would be completely eliminated and my chronites only took scratch (splash) damage.
The only time I lost would be due to crappy ally who don't know tanks wars, pushed a tank too far and let the enemy have everything fire on it. As the game autotarget the back of that tank my mass got killed instantly.
I start with armory and then outpost as communist and I can make about 30 tanks from that non-stop, if my ally is any good he could pull some medics and hold them properly, the EQ is already won in the first 3 minutes as I pin the enemy down with increasing number of tanks. With enough medics even 2 players building hovers cannot break this blockade, then I kill the base with no rally snipers or another insane mass of chronites.
here is a strategy: (you have to be fasist for this to work well) make an armory then get money from it. then you make a forge and get energy. then you make a bank upgrade to a treasury. then make a generator and upgrade to a solar grid and then upgrade your forge to the last stage of forge and make loads of sakatas and spiders and rally them(maybe some gladiators too) and when you have at least 200$ and blow up your tresury and make a solar grid and keep getting sakatas and spidersand make your armory get energy instead of money. this also works for outpost(same thing) but instead of a generator mkae a hospital too get man power and make hovers and black queens.
Hmm...all those times I didn't have any roman support.
They always attack the back of the mass? I always sent out a tank in front to take damage, and I used charge-hold position on the tanks I controlled...but...the one flaw to this is if the enemies are in a group, not a wall, so you'd blow up the first tanks, then you'd blow up as you wait for the chronites to reload...
lala team with me or against me somedays I'll show you how it is done =p
Too bad I'm on my laptop now and the resource bug still in 1.16 give me huge disadvantage if I play the game on this.
.
A stream of no rally autoroman is a must when doing a push, it works wonders. Massing them however is totally useless.
EQ build
Communists -Armory, put on money -Outpost, once you have outpost completed, armory switch to man and outpost roll out tanks -Make tanks until you are out of manpower, switch armory to money, and after you have enough energy and money to build a hospital switch back to manpower again. -Hospital, keep building medics if your tank mass is enough huge or mix tanks and medic build if you are losing too much tanks -If the enemy has tank mass at this point, use armory to get money/energy to build a forge, keep the forge on making energy or even armory for energy if you are desperate.
Depend on the situation you may want to build a forge third instead of a hospital (if enemy massed snipers before you can lock them down, make a forge asap).
When you have a forge, stock up the energy until you want to battle, when battle is about to begin, build romans and turn off rally. This will allow your tank mass to advance safely. Remember push tiny bits and hold position, they will fire immediately if something is within range when on hold, but if you let them keep advancing, they will fire only when they are already some distance within range. Since chronites move a lot slower then hovers you should never let that happen.
Yeah I know, what's weird was sometimes...all my chronites were in a wall, then when I held...about 3 of them fired, and i had to coax the rest into firing (then I blew up...)
All strats are situational. What may do good in one area, might fail at another...just because these strats aren't good for a certain situation, doesn't mean we're noobs.
You realized nobody "rush" you when you tech? We just mass units outside your very doorstep to pin you down from making any unit. It is a valid strategy in all game modes, the difference is using what units.
Roman never works against a good player. This is a strategy game that doesn't require scouting, but only looking at the "chessboard", afterall.
And care to share the best strategy for EQ? Everyone either pin with chronites, hovers or snipers, there is no other option here.
