John Coleman, founder of the weather channel, and 30,000 scientists along with 9,000 of them with PHDs are attempting to sue Al Gore for financial fraud due to false Global Warming
Does it really matter what the court decides about actual global warming anyway? Most people will not change their mind anyway. For example there have been several people on this thread that are convinced one way or another so absolutly that they refuse to consider the possibility that the others may in fact have a point. Graham has a point all the "evidence" on google has most likely been heard time and again.
I don't know how you feel about financial fraud but I think thats a pretty serious crime that will take quite awhile to decide especially in a high profile case like this. As to who will win it may just come down to beliefs in the end as no matter how much judges/jury are supposed to be neutral most will have had an opinon coming in, and some like some of the members here, will refuse to listen to each other. So in the words of linkin park "in the end it doesn't even matter" thats how I feel the court case is.
an analogy: you get people convinced all life on earth will die soon because of dehydration and show "scientific" results how the earth is slowly having a drought. you get it so convinced that governments agree and use millions of dollars just to prevent/slow this down. then a group of people come up with "other" results and claim the first person was lying. it becomes 2 groups with no side really knowing who is true. that is why they are pushing for a debate in court. whichever side presents the strongest case wins. from the video i see al gore has been avoiding a debate far too long.
I think its a stupid thing to worry about anyway no one knows what is going on but we do know that people are starving why not have scientists work on something like that? A faster growing crop? One that can survive and thrive in places like african desert?

well said mrmonkey3... well said. lol
and ipwnu2day, I'm going to take a look at that link now.
to ipwnu2day, that article just said a lot on how the sun may not be responsible for global warming, but never said there isn't. And it never actually said the sun isn't part of the reason for global warming, but w/e I don't want to argue about global warming anymore it's really hot.... I wonder why?
