I personally do think there will be. And as far as this "war on terrorism" goes it might lead to WW3. I want to know what you guys/girls know. And keep to the rules.
If Congress passes SOPA....most definitely. Not really though, it would take more than just SOPA. But it could be very possible. At the current rate it is going to happen if our government doesn't get their act together and stop doing things that our going to cause major conflict then it will happen. Either that or the complete collapse of America because of the stupidity of our government leading to WW3. Now if you will excuse the government is now going to detain me indefinitely without trial.
This touches on something I was thinking of. What if a third world war isn't primarily fought with guns and bombs but more of a cyber war fought with the exchange of information and the attempt to suppress it. We can see other countries already doing this to their people like China and we have the US trying to do it to their people. Such a war may also touch on how fuel source issues, with many corporations refusing to put major effort into the development and conversion of newer sources.

World War 3 is, in short, inevitable. I think the more important question would be whether it will be the war to end all wars. Should World War 3 become a reality, humanity's survival will hang by a thread should global superpowers decide to employ nuclear technology.

I am saying that he took two random nations (Russians, Nazi Germany) and put them together for absolutely no reason. Of course there are Russian Nazis, and there are probably one or two Nazi Communists, but Nazi's main ideology hated communists, from what I remember. And even then, there are still plenty of Russian communists, a ton of them if the numbers are not to off.

There are plenty of books put there that detail how both share similar ideas ( revolutionary fervor, classless societies, etc) and the reason they fought each other so viciously in Germany was because they were fighting for the same base of support. Once again, lets bring back the Stormcloaks and the Empire. Both want to unify Skyrim under their rule, appointing jarls to lead each city and abolishing whatever those elven armies are called. But the Stormcloaks hate everybody who isn't a Nord, and the Imperials want Skyrim to be unified under the Emperor. Are the Stormcloaks and the Empire to much different? No. They are just incompatible.

What I am saying is both are harmless at the moment, just because something is growing does not mean it will ever become a potent force, and probably not a world power. I don't even have a bacterial culture, but it could potentially grow something that becomes a potent force in the world. It is highly unlikely, however.
