I think I'm for the Death Penalty. It's not because people deserve to die, but to explain in a different way, there has been a video going around here, and I heard about it months before, where 2 teenagers brutally murder a man (I still haven't watched it). I researched the topic, and I saw that they committed around 20 other murders in Ukraine. They were given life in prison. That's it. I am for the Death Penalty because those two teenagers have committed crimes that will make anyone want to throw up.

also if we could kill just 1/3 of the prisoners then we could pay off the national deubt in 10 years

That's the thing. Not 1/3 of the people in prison deserve to die.

true but some of them do, i was just throwing that fact out there to show how much money prisons take up.

Well prisoners can still escape, so that death penalty will really prevent more crime I guess. But a weak argument.

Well what if they escape before the death penalty. That means more crime.

Well...it's not really easy to escape when you're at court with a few dozen policemen.

Well they dont kill them right away. They hold them in a cell for a while and then kill them.

how about they just use he prisoners to do labor? Then they would earn money need a little more staff and then there you go, money.

we dont need staff and how would we make money from it?
people arent losing jobs or having a tough time finding them becuase we need more people to work

we can release them but it's likely they'll kill again
