In my opinion the 2 best drummers of all time. So stop claiming that Lars Ulrich or the dude from Slipknot are good. Niel Peart and Kieth Moon I'll let you get away with.
ok i got one.. the drummer from saosin shreds. Travis Barker is the mos ttechnical drummer there is today. and the Rev from avengedsevenfold is amazing also!
So, Dave Mackintosh is not part of the group of "good drummers"? Buddy Rich is definitely great, but look how many years of experience he has done that. Dave has 15, and he's already up there with blast beats, crazy rhythms, and all-around original combinations of snare, base, and symbol beats.
Can't go wrong with Mackintosh or Buddy Rich, imo.
If you think about it (and I mean really think about this) Lars Ulrich is an amazing drummer.Seven Minute songs with nonstop drums with multiple songs back-to-back during concerts. I'm surprised he doesn't have a heart attack on stage.
What no David Groel, without him Nirvana wouldn't of been as good. They waited two years finding the right drummer so then they could release thier album.
