A talking Psyduck?

I think I remember that! I'm not sure if it was in the show or a game. I think I might have seen it in Pokemon Yellow. I loved that game... I would go to the Casino, get some major dough, and than just go pokehuntin'. Got my Pikachu up to like level 90 or even higher. It was boss.

Most Meowth can't talk, though.

That's why chatot are better! they can talk (Repeat, but still...)
and not ALL 4th gens are not based on anything, I believe chatot rimes with parrot, and they look like this kind of bird. and there are many others.

The thing is, I wouldn't want them to talk.
Something repeating the same thing over and over again in my ear is not my definition of a happy time.

We didn't say they weren't based of stuff, simply it was hard to tell what it's based on. (Not the starters though)

If there will be, I hope they take a serious look at their stylistic choices beforehand.

Chatot = Chatter + parrot (I think).
And I never said 4th gens weren't based on stuff. I'm just saying a lot of them are rather far out there, where 1st gens were quite easy to see similarities of.

We are talking, what, 100 pokemon in that gen, and they have MORE FREAKIN LEGENDARIES THAN THEY HAVE FIRE POKEMON!! Total count of fire: 4. Starter + evolutions, and Magmortar.

It could be possible... Without energy. Like instead of evolving in white light, they simply grow features after some time.
Nidoran fem is the only one being able to breeeeed!

As for the talking pokemon: Telepathy!! MWAHAHAHAAAA!
Ash kinda understands Pikachu (It actually talks to him sometimes using his name, which in pika is "Pikapi&quot, so I guess after some time with pokemon, you simply gain an understanding of them, as they do of you.

Yes~ I've actually seen a really neat Charmander-halfway-to-Charmeleon illustration. Was adorable^^

Actually five, there is a Fire Legendary, but it's Fire/steel. Really f*cked up.

I take it you specialize in fire Pokemon, Cen? And there are way too many legendary pokemons! The only one I will ever use is my Kyogre...

If I had three to choose, I would pick Luxray, Sceptile, and Swampert.

I like them.
And if a generation lacks them like the 4th gen does, there is something wrong anyway. There are about three times as many legendaries as fire types, it really shows how off the gen is.

I still need to do that image with my choices.
