I think that george Bush could possible be the worst president that we have ever had, we are trillions of dollars in debt and we are in a war that appears to have no ending, please tell me what you think.
Bush was elected under the Constitution, which has been in place for over 200 years.
See... Im not a huge fan of the way the election system works. I think that each person should count, not each *state* persay. Yes, he won as a result of the electoral system...but if you counted each individual vote, he did not win.
And you say that we are not allowed to call ourselves American because we do not agree with the leader? That is what *makes* us American. Bush has done a lot of great things for this country. Things that many other leaders wouldn't be capable of doing. No, he's not the best president ever, but in my opinion, that was FDR. Everyone's got their own opinion on that matter. As far as the economic problems this country is having right now, much of that can be attributed to the state in which Bill Clinton left the office. He set the economy up to fail after he left office. What he did looked good in the short-term, but in the long term, he was killing the economy. He helped to rally the country together after the terrorist attacks on 9/11/01. During his 2008 State of the Union Address Bush announced that the U.S. would commit US$2 billion over the next three years towards a new international fund to promote clean energy technologies and fight climate change. He declared that; "along with contributions from other countries, this fund will increase and accelerate the deployment of all forms of cleaner, more efficient technologies in developing nations like India and China, and help leverage substantial private-sector capital by making clean energy projects more financially attractive." During the speech, Bush announced plans to reaffirm the United States' commitment to work with major economies and through the United Nations to complete an international agreement that will slow, stop, and eventually reverse the growth of greenhouse gases. Bush also put us billions in debt and insists on fighting a war that should never have been started in the first place. Never has a president been so rejected before, and its not just because its an "new millenium" and peopl act different. No, its cause he doesnt know what the hell hes doing.
