I really don't want to talk about the current metagame.
Marines are really sick units, but people don't use them efficiently. Their counter parts are the most broken thing in the game being able to shut down the whole forge tech tree.

Main 1on1 builds Capitalist- tdh build
bank,post then variations(+14)
Fascist- Classic forge and dual facist
Classic forge- Bank,forge then variations(+5) Dual fascist- Bank, post, Forge, hosp/gen/armory
Communist- Classic post/foxer, commi rush
foxer/classic -Bank,post then variations(+5) Commi rush- post, hosp, war sanc
Monarchy- Spec Forces Rush, mon toolbox
SFR- bank, post/forge, ops variation(+4) Mon tool- no base..... possible starts are bank, armory, ops variation(+10)
The variation counts are just approximate. tdh build has +14 variations according to tdh himself. however about 5 are only used. Idk how long has it been since you played but the meta game is all influence based and rushing(i like how that is though). From personal experience the government tiers are Capitalist, Monarchy, Fascist, then communist(highest to lowest). The gaps between the tiers and next level are small, yet noticeable. However things do add up. The gap between capitalism and communism is huge.
yes.. yos you underate how good you are. they are only good case you use them. im sure you would be prety unbeatable if you strsted useing mon. the only reason your crappy builds are working for you is beacuse you have so much skill. if somebody like me were to use them like in a 1v1 agest tdh, i dought i would last 3 mins with forge first commie. they are god builds but things like toolbox and fox are better.
