Now, before i say anything,I am not racist against him.I am part black myself. The only reason why Obama is president is he is black. If it were a white person with the same beliefs, they would not be president today.

Please keep conversation friendly on this post.

And to add to this, people who have 1 disagreement against Obama are being called racist,And with most of them, they aren't racist, they just disagree with Obama.....

That and the fact that McCain chose Palin as his running mate. McCain could've won if he didn't make such a stupid mistake.

Obama didn't really choose that great a running mate either. Joe Biden isn't the smartest guy in the world...

1) I think that there were probably just as many people who subconsciously voted against Obama because of race as voted for him.

2) Bush. There was almost no way a Democrat could have possibly lost after 8 years of him.

Actually, the reason he won is because he made lots of promises he didn't keep. When are you going to pull our soldiers out of Iraq, Barack? Don't keep us waiting!

Palin was the one reason I didn't want McCain to win. Otherwise I wouldn't have cared which way it went.

Clearly not as stupid as Palin.

I have to agree that Bush being a republican was probably a deciding factor.

In the news, it was Obama vs. Hillary. You never heard the news or radio talk about McCain. Both Obama and Hillary were popular for being "1sts" and by the time Hillary dropped out, Obama's fame had already sky rocketed. Many of Hillary's votes went to Obama because many of her votes (as for everyones) were from uncertain voters. The uncertain voters didn't vote for McCain because Obama already boosted his fame when he ran against Hillary Clinton.

If H. Clinton never ran for president, McCain would have won more votes. Probably not enough to make him president, but the votes were biased.

No politician has ever been that stupid. I would have voted for him had it not been for that dumb choice of his. He has much more experience in politics and would have won had he not been so old.

But instead, I just didn't vote at all.

I feared we would die and Palin would be in charge of the country. *Shivers at the thought*

Me neither. Of course, I'm too young to vote.

If McCain were 15 years younger, that would have been a good strategy. At least he wouldn't get assassinated!

McCain wanted to have a minority as his running mate, so he went with a woman, but WHY PALIN!?!?!?! Now I like Obama just a little more than the average politician, and I wanted him to win because I didn't like Palin, and I thought McCain was really old so...
Though, I don't think McCain could've won with Space Marine Palin and Ex-President Bush hovering over him. Even if Obama's face hadn't been slapped across every alleyway and painted under every bridge...

I feared we would die and Palin would be in charge of the country. *Shivers at the thought*

Hence why I thought McCain was too old, because if he left us during his presidency...................
At least he wouldn't get assassinated!

I figured it was battle of the Vice Presidents, that being the worst possible outcome of that whole election
Obama could easily have been assassinated [still can] and Biden would run the country.
McCain could easily have died and Palin would have run the country.

I'm too young to vote anyway, next time around I can, but not this last one...

That's basically a big neon sign saying "Come and get us, Bin Laden!".

Obama could easily have been assassinated [still can] and Biden would run the country.

It isn't quite the worst thing. What I said just above is the worst thing.
