Is god willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both willing, and able? then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him god?
love these topics... because it allows us all to see the arrogance in so many people on this site.. They think because there is no such thing in god that they gotta make fun of anyone who does. Like please keep this sh't to urself, we dont give a f'ck anymore. Add on to the other topics or sumthing because really half of us think your a r'tard for not believing in a God. Everyone has different beliefs and there is no use argueing it becuase in the end we will all stay the same... Stop making topics like this cuz it aint a topic
LOL! Oh wait, you're being serious ...
THIS post is the only post I have read on this thread that sounds arrogant. In addition, no one in this thread, until you, found it necessary to name-call nor to cuss. Also, if you are going to flame or troll, could you please do it with a little more flare, such as speaking eloquently? Oh, and one more thing, if it's here it's a TOPIC, there really can be no arguing with that, can there?
Of course he is able! Have you heard of all the amazing miracles he has done? He has cast out demons out of peoples bodies! Walked on water! Turned water into wine!
Then he is not omnipotent.
Well, if he can make a blind man see. Make the crippled walk. Stop storms from brewing, then I defiantly think he is Omnipotent :P
Is he able, but not willing
All of you just don't have a clue? He has a plan for us! You could be standing in front of a wall one day and ask him to obliterate it, but he won't. But then, he tells you that he doesn't do it because all the debris from the wall will surely kill you! And thats why he is not willing to do it.
Then he is malevolent
Wait what? He is malevolent because he doesn't want to do something? And he does not do it because it's for our own good! (if you haven't realized that yet) Malevolent? I am blown away by you calling him molevolent!
Is he both willing, and able
He will do something if it is in his plan for you.
then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
God hates evil! God has never done evil, or said anything evil. He hates everything dark. So then he is he not Omnipotent? Yes he is. So that means he is able. And since he hates everything dark and evil... dosen't that mean that he is willing to destroy evil?
Wait what? He is malevolent because he doesn't want to do something? And he does not do it because it's for our own good! (if you haven't realized that yet) Malevolent? I am blown away by you calling him molevolent!
That is not why anyone was saying god acts malevolently ... try reading the thread from the beginning if you want to discount what others meant. Others pertaining to those who have been posting on this thread through-out.
Wow. Back in my flaming days, I would be cussing at you until I got banned. That's how much of a troll you are. Luckily, I don't do that anymore. Your incompetence should be reported to the mods.
"Psssssst. Everyone remembers the proper troll protocol right? Don't respond and click the little flag button."
God is real, if you look you can see signs all over. He gives us free will for love, you can't love or be loved without free will. God wanted to love us and us to love him and that is the reason for life. Evil happens because people want things for selfish reasons not for needs. 80% of the worlds riches are held by 20% of the worlds population. if we all lived like Jesus every one would need nothing, but we all want more than our fair share.
and thirdly by the looks of things the only people who completely complained and got pissed off about my posts are the people who are trying to convert people into thinking theres no such thing as a God.
Like I said before, if you would have read the thread from the beginning, you would know what's really going on. Absolutely no one here is trying to "convert" believers into non-believers ... In fact, if you would have read earlier posts, we even stated such. We are more or less debating on the bible, and yes, whether there is a god or not. However I personally have yet to see a post on this thread that told someone that believing in God is ridiculous ... No one person can say, with any certainty, that God exist or that he doesn't ... hence, it was quite arrogant of you to ASSUME we stated that, when we have not.

LOL ..thanks for the heads up Blu, btw - I did that also. You're right though, I should have acted like his post was a flea on my screen that I could just squash.
shyla, I'm curious and waiting for your response... just telling you in case you didn't see it yet lol since a lot of new posts came int
wow someone is wating to hear what I have to say im so happy ... lol oh and sry Im on vacition right now so im not on my computer every min. of the day.
Yes..keep sitting on your *** all day waiting for a response...
chill out why dont you, your being a jerk.
I think I understand, children's minds are "ure"? HOWEVER...
yes its pure, it is not messed wit. and thats what God wants, is to have a pure and simple mind, see God is a simple God.
Well of course they will believe if they don't compare it to anything.
and thats how it was when God mad the earth, there was nothing to compare God to.
if there was a god, there would be no famine, no suffering, the world would be at peace and harmony. there is no proof saying there is or isn't a god, but i don't think there is.
