It depends on the kid. For example, my 9 year old brother has watched me play some M rated games, and now he's always cursing and stuff. When I was 9 I played M rated games at my friends house and I still don't curse really. It just depends on the kid.
well, pretty decently aged. if your mature, you can be any age really. but if you play spiderman and try to jump out your window and swing from your tree on a rope NO cause you WILL be a serial killer :P down south though, idk :P... 7? lol
no, they use M in the UK occasionaly, but usually it's rated M instead of 18 because the games were developed in america.
It's kinda sad that i know 4 year olds who are brought up on GTA, and they're always swearing and talking 'bout sawn-offs and stuff, it just doesn't seem right.
sorry for double post, but what's kinda annoying is that the authorities are always talking about £500 fines for people buying 18's for young kids, yet they've had that rule in force for 7 years now, yet no-one has been convicted of the charge, or even been cautioned about it to date.
17, unless you have a card for the specific store you are buying in and the settings on the card account allow you to buy them w/o someone older then 16
I think the current age of 17 is fine. Not like it stops people who're under 17 from buying "M" rated games though. Or their parents from buying it for them.
