It didn't seem like the 8th anniversary of 9/11 was very important to people. For example: on the front of the seattle times today, there was a little section on the front pg telling those who read the paper to turn to the 3rd pg to read about the anniversary. Today should of been a day to look back and remember what happened to our country. Does anyone else agree?

Whatever you may call it, I like how it was put by Graham.

it will be remembered, just not to be shoved in my face every sept 11th.

To make it worse, it being shoved up in everyone's faces can cause racial and religious comments to fly, and thankfully after 8 Years I only heard one terrorist joke attributed to myself. (I had a shirt with towers on it and it reminded my friends, lolol)

Also, Nonconformist, great way to put it as well. I never see the guy that died in his country due to political turmoil in Central America, the Middle East or in Africa. Why is it that we're only remembering a select group of people that died? Why is it that we chose to shove September 11th in front of us, remember Pearl Harbor years later but NONE of us remember us Nuking Nagasaki and Hiroshima, NONE of us sit back and think on the five years of bombing we've put Afghanistan through. To be honest, besides in school, is there even a good portion of the population that cares about the holocaust?
