Hello, this is Moat. It's been a while since I made an RPG, but here goes...
Welcome to Hero Trainer. It's a regular RPG, but with a twist. You aren't the hero, you're supposed to train a regular kid and turn him into a hero(wonder if you picked that up from the title?). Therefore, there are two character sheets; yours and hers/his.
It's in the medieval age, by the way. You've just retired from whatever profession, and now are looking for an apprentice to take your place. You don't have to make them an adventurer; they can be a scholar, a smith, heck, even an outlaw. But you make them into what they'll be.
Here's the breakdown:

YOU
Name: Anything you want, it doesn't matter
Age: Anything reasonable, it doesn't affect anything
Gender: Male or female. Simple as that
Occupation: Occupation is what you were before you retired. Whatever your occupation is doesn't mean your apprentice has to be that, but they will get a bonus. Look down to Occupation to see the options.
Patience: Patience covers how long you can teach your student the same thing, or how many mistakes he/she can make before you get frustrated. Being frustrated lowers your abilities till you calm down, and also raises the apprentice's resentment. You have 5 points to spread between your attributes(Patience, Charisma, and Wisdom)however you wish.
Charisma: Charisma is how persuasive you are, how much of an impression you make. The higher your Charisma, the more your apprentice will listen to and obey you, and also the lower store costs. Also, you and your apprentice will have less resentment.(look to apprentice sheet for resentment)
Wisdom: Wisdom is how, well, wise you are. The higher your Wisdom is, the easier your student learns, and also the faster. Therefore, the higher your Wisdom, the easier it will be to teach. Also, if your Wisdom is high enough, you can make a few items for your apprentice to use.
Items: None

There's your character sheet. Here are the occupations...

Smith: You were a skilled metal worker, crafting steel or silver into useful tools. +1 to your apprentice's Smithing skill, and you can also make a few tools as you level up.
Scholar: You were once a wise scholar, giving wisdom wherever the town needed it. +1 to your apprentice's Scholar skill, and +1 to your Wisdom.
Outlaw: You were once a crafty outlaw, breaking the laws and evading the constables. +1 to your apprentice's Stealth skill, and you can steal things as you level up.
Adventurer: You were once a daring adventurer, fighting monsters, getting treasure, and saving people. +1 to both of your apprentice's combat skills: Magic and Physical.

That's you. When a few people have joined, I will post the apprentice's character sheet. Unlike the hero, people don't get to choose what their apprentice is like, but they can reject an apprentice and look for a new one.

Oh, and another thing? You can send your apprentice off to do pretty much anything, but he does get tired out, and if you leave him working when he's really tired, he'll start to resent you. If he resents you enough, he'll run away, and you'll have to start over. If your apprentice dies, then you can recruit a new one, or you can try to get him resurrected if you have enough money.

Good luck!

*headesk* I forgot the goal!
The goal of the game is to make your apprentice a famous(or infamous) hero, whatever profession they choose. If this is accomplished with one, you can take another one if you want and keep playing. You must do this before their eighteenth birthday though.

Eh whatever, here's the apprentice sheet and what to do with it. Remember that I give you an apprentice when you recruit, and you don't get to choose what they are. But you can recruit a different one if you don't like the one you get.

An Apprentice's character sheet.

Name
: Anything
Age: Anything
Gender:: Either one
Class:: You teach them their class. Look below at Classes for more details. Class determines most of what you would teach them and their skills.
School: You are the primary teacher, but you can also send them off to a school to learn(this costs money). They can only be at one school at a time.
Strength: Physical strength, it determines what they can lift, how long they can lift it, etc.
Endurance: How tough they are, determines their Hitpoints, how long they can work without getting Exhausted, etc.
Intelligence: How smart they are. Raises how fast they learn, how much money they make, etc.
Fame: Fame is very important. Every apprentice needs Fame to become successful. Fame is gained by doing jobs, completing quests, winning a public fight, etc. Some things give more jobs. If the apprentice gets good enough at something, they can gain a little Fame from it, but not nearly enough. Sometimes, an apprentice is more infamous than famous, and that can be a bad thing, as people won't like them as much.
Resentment: Like Fame, Resentment is very important, but it's negative. Resentment is gained from you becoming frustrated, working too hard or too long, failing, etc. If an apprentice's Resentment level gets too high, they will run away and you will have to recruit a new one.
Skills: You teach the apprentice his/her skills, and the skills you can teach depend entirely upon his/her class.
Allies: Allies are the apprentice's friends. You are automatically one of their Allies, but they can gain them as the game goes on.
Rivals: The exact opposite of Allies; the apprentice's enemies. They start with no Rivals, but can gain them as the game goes on.
Items:

Apprentice Classes
Classes are very important. They determine the character's skills. As the character levels up, they can gain classes. Do not confuse classes with jobs. If you feel that I am missing a class, tell me and I will likely add it.

Smith:
Carpenter:
Scholar
Outlaw
Adventurer
Animal Tamer
Diplomat
Explorer
Dueler

There are the classes. Please note that you don't get to choose the apprentice, but you teach them the rest.

Alright, dc is in. I will only accept 2 more people.
What do you want to do now?

A. Try to recruit an apprentice
B. Look around town. Maybe I'll find something useful, before taking an apprentice
C. Make your own option

You start to recruit an apprentice, and soon a hopeful comes to you. You can either reject him and look for another apprentice or take him in and accept him as your new apprentice.
