My favorite was Ronald Reagan. He was a deciding factor in the fall of the Soviet Union, and go us out of a pretty bad recession quite well. He also lowered taxes, another plus.
Anyways anyone who supports Bush is a lunatic, honestly.
That's your opinion Kirby. People can support him if they want to,they're entitled to free will. And this thread is for people to name their favorite president.
I can't really have one favorite president, it's gotta be one from each major party.
So, my first would be FDR, because he actually did something about the Depression, unlike Coolidge and Hoover, even though WWII was the real solution.
Second is Teddy Roosevelt, because his age was the age of strikes, and he got (almost) all of them figured out, regulated, and solved, with the help of his cabinet. So all of those fair wages, equal opportunity and all that stuff, thank Teddybear for that :-)

His policies maybe hastened the collapse of the Soviet Union by a couple months, no more. The Soviet Union was collapsing on itself by the early 1980's.
He may have helped get out of the early 1980's recession, but his policies (like tax cuts, de-regulation, and privitization) directly led to the early 1990's recession.
I'm using my free will as well to state my opinion, that is largely agreed with.
Emphasis mine.
The belief that Bush supporters are lunatics is ridiculous; lunacy is a mental illness that affects no where near as many people as support Bush. I highly doubt many would agree with your analysis.
Why do you believe that Bush was so bad? Was he really that much worse than any other president?
I like Lincoln myself, being too lazy to think of another.
