Having umpteen threads about the same basic idea is pointless/getting fairly annoying.

Not to mention, a monopoly in capitalism is ridiculously hard to maintain.
Especially with all the antitrust laws against it.


Not to mention that those laws were made because unregulated capitalism produces the same effects for the majority as conditions in a third world nation.

in a market economy (which capitalism performs in), a monopoly is ridiculously hard to maintain, yet antitrust laws are put into effect and help maintain that monopoly as well as give a guideline as to when the rich company turns into a monopoly, therefore providing a barometer as to when a company must be taken down.
