If you look at countries like Canada that have government health care, what do the people there do when they get really sick? If they can afford it they come to America so they don't have to wait 3 months for surgery. Governnment health care doesn't work. This is a huge mistake.

In case you haven't noticed what Stephen Harper said in his speeches, waiting times for life-saving surgeries have been reduced, and when more immigrants come (and hopefully some pass through the immigration act) there will be more doctors, reducing waiting times even further.
The fact is the Nobel peace prize is basically a very much debated and biased prize.
