Personally I find the nobel peace prize a bit of a joke. So many brilliant peace activists have not won it for some strange reason and then Obama wins it and he has only been in office one year. Far too early and for far too little.
He was the first president to not automatically condemn any/all actions by arabs and palestinians. he engages in and supports multi-nation talks instead of taking immediate action on international politics, which is really what matters in the long run.

They call it the "War on Terror" but if it all ends in americas favor what happens we get oil and i hate bush because he pushed for this so called "War on Terror" all were doing is pushing the terrorists toward the edge and if they get pushed to far they're gonna push back even harder so really u can leave them alone and worry about your country or you can push them off all together in other words youd have to kill them all off

I agree, Just because for once some of the liberals are saying that he didn't deserve it does not mean we agree that he is a bad president or that he is a terrorist. You are not changing our ideas.

You know what happens if terrorists attack and we do nothing? We appear to be pushovers, and we're going to get attacked again. If we attack them, even a little bit, they'll know we'll hit back, and they may not be so keen to hit us again. How the hell was Bush supposed to know what to do when two buildings got knocked over within half an hour of each other? Nobody knew what was happening, and everybody supported action. Even if you disagree with the way he went about the acton, that's no reason to hate him. In the same situation, I don't think any one of us could do any better. Sure, it's easy to evaluate him NOW, but imagine being in his shoes, not even expecting it.

He won mainly because he proposed an IDEA to get rid of nuclear weapons, he doesn't deserve it now and I doubt he ever will. I may eat my words; but come on the guy hasn't even been in office a year, the award officially means nothing to me any more.
