Wasn't the submission for Obama to the Nobel Committee sent about 2 weeks after he gained office? And he didn't do anything really noteworthy, just the stemcell research, so its really just based upon promisises if this is true.

i'm not a hater or lover of obama i don't think he has done anything besides spend trillions complain about how bad america. When he does something good for America I'll give him a round of applause but for right now he is not lookin to good
Why the heck did he get it? he hasn't been in office for more than one year, there have been no major bills passed or laws made, and overall, he hasn't done anything for the country yet. I think its just because he accomplished being elected. Why does that deserve a prize?
i think ikts pretty dumb that he won the nobel Peace prize for his "ideas". has that ever even happened? his ideas are to do so ething that costs a couple trillion dollars. plus, he hasnt even done what hes gonna say yet. its the most rediculous reason to give someone the nobel peace prize
And the Nobel Prize was supposed to be for someone's achievements the past year, and he hasn't even done anything and won't do anything in the future, whoever decided he should get it needs to be tortured... so slowly that he begs to be killed for at least a week...
