Is it just me or does it seem like there is less and less Mario around. Most of their new games involving Mario that they have come out with are not very exciting and the ones that are, nobody plays. They pretty much burnt out all Mario ideas so quickly that http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d3/Symbol_mario.svg/50px-Symbol_mario.svg.pngnow the once famous video game ikon is fading... Let me know your opinions on this.

Yes Mario has started fading, because they don't have anymore good new ideas and they are doing the same things over and over again.

You people don't get out much, do you? At E3, they said that they were going to release New Super Mario Bros Wii(Simultaneous multiplayer play, yay!). The also said they were going to release a Super Mario Galaxy 2. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story just came out.

His game series is already as good as dead. I hadn't even heard of him until I bought SSBB.

It's not fading...Pretty much every mario game gets 10's of millions of buys, and makes it onto the most top 100 most bought games charts. Look at Super Mario Galaxy for example.

Ps: Super Mario Galaxy 2 has a release date of 2010 FYI

You live in a hole dude. Most people who know mario know fox. Except people who live in holes. Like you.

Mario will never die. He's Nintendo's icon, how can he? That's like saying eventually America will change the Constitution. Hah. They just need to make another epic mario game like 64, Super Mario RPG, or even Paper Mario. All amazing, yet very distinct, different games, and yet they all involve the same character. I don't think Nintendo will end the Mario saga.

Mario sucks. It's about a midget plumber, with a gay mustache and an abnormally large nose who hops about like a retard in fairy land and jumps on pathetic excuses for enemies who don't even defend themselves.

Mario was good at the height of his age sure. Now he is what Valkyrie described him as, now only a drug addict(no one else see the repeated Magic Mushroom references).

I'm guessing you hate most platformers?

It doesn't have to be realistic, a FPS, have a deep storyline, or have guns to be good.

Yeah I think Mario got high on those stupid mushrooms with faces and then fell into a complex emotional state of trauma and failed to come out of it in time for a new game.
