If there are good people left in this world let's have a chat.

I myself oppose death metal it is ungodly. it also leads to being anti god and christian.

I myself am a very active christian and active anti atheism.

Death metal, Atheism, and hatred towards god is disgusting.

If anyone responds with hate comments towards Christians i will mark it as spam.

Dude, the lyrics don't cause problems, they are a problem. Those lyrics are incredibly depressing and gothic. So if you like that kind of stuff, that doesn't bother me, but I think it's just plain weird.

The OP is extremely narrow-minded. So, this isn't really directed at him/her.

But, I will say I really cannot stand the sound of not only death metal, but all metal. I agree, it sounds like screaming. Convince me how it is decent music. I'm all ears.

I could honestly care a less about the lyrics. They aren't usually very well constructed (few exceptions, of course), but the instrumentals are quite good. I do quite enjoy them.

Death metal is awesome.

Well, not that it's really going to change anyone's opinion, like all forms of music, some is very good, some is downright awful.

The only one I can think of that might convince you would be Enter Sandman, but that's probably not going to.

No, I want to figure out what I'm missing. I mean there is a reason it is popular, right? So, this is good. I will bite. I do like Enter Sandman and didn't associate it with metal.

It's not as popular anymore, but some people just like it . . . just because. They like the sound, lyrics, etc.

Like most music. I can't figure out for the life of me what's so great about rap, and probably won't ever.

metal is horrible music. The people can't even sing. But then again, it's the same with rap i guess... :/
