Nothing in the Bible says you can't.
If you're listening to it, and you're a Christian, God probably knows that the music is not actually changing your beliefs, rather than just entertaining noise in your head. He knows that you're still a Christian, because listening to that music doesn't convert you otherwise.
Death Metal is more bad guitar solos and random screaming which can't be deciphered into words.

I don't find anything particularly evil or wrong with metal (and I'm Christian myself) but in my opinion, its mostly people who know how to shred guitar and growl. And play really easy drum beats.
Well I do like Lady Gaga, But i'm indifferent about justin bieber. Lately I've been listening to a lot of folk and bluegrass. My favorite artist at the moment is Alison Krauss. My music library is pretty loaded with country. I think I might listen to every country artist. I also really like some classic rock/oldies bands, such as the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Allman Brothers.
