The thing I never got about America is why there are different age limits for different things. At 18 you are an adult and you can smoke, play the lottery, go to a indian casion, buy porn, buy guns and so on. By why is it that you can't buy or drink alcohol until age 21? So at 18 you can put tobacco in your body but not alcohol because why? They both have the danger of killing you. Well America will probability never change this, so for right now I will just keep driving up to Canada to drink. = ]
Because us American's see drinking as a way to get stupid, as opposed to having a social drink or two. The American media, government, and education system demonizes alcohol, so naturally, people want to use it more than its intended use.
Statistics show that drunk driving accidents were severely REDUCED in the United States when the drinking age was raised to 21. Until the culture of alcohol changes, I'd keep the age at 21.
Ok people this whole you are more mature when you are 21 is crap. I know and have seen lot's of people in there 30s,40s that are well educated drink till they drop, so I think age factor is crap. Also I drink about a 6 pack then I stop.

Yeah, but they can do that. Legally. How does that make the age factor crap? And well educated doesn't mean mature. Maturity is measured by the way you conduct yourself, not how much you know or how old you are.
I think that if Prohibition came back, Our Economy would boost because, the common man would be making TONS of money so i mean it would help and it could be a lesser version and the officials could just look the other way
