This is a (hopefully) fresh take on the generic 'Apocalypse' RPGs.
Backstory: The human race is finshed. Already decimated by a century long 8th World War, they were ill prepared for the spread of a terrible biological weapon. Crippled, they retreated to hidden underground forts, remaining there for hundreds of years in cryostasis. Awakening, they discover the planet has been taken over by a race of mysterious angel like creatures. These faceless creatures have a single minded mission: Destroy all life...

You detect a small lifesign in the far corner of the room. When you look there, there's nothing... You continue practising, but the hissing noise persists and you try again. The lifesign seems to have moved to the door way. You get up and walk towards it... but it fades from your telepathy. It appears again, further down the hallway. What do you do? Notes: There is a fire extinguisher on the wall, but the cabinet is locked and can only be opened from the inside...
You stare out towards the horizon, and see flickers of light. The rumbling gets closer, and you begin to make out details. There seem to be two fighter aircraft duelling in the sky: an Angel mosquito and a... what seems to be a K'tinga class human attack fighter... The duel heats up, ad the human ship gets the mosquito on the run. The pulse blasters flare, and the mosquito crumples, blazing. It smashes to the ground in an enormous explosion. The fighter loops the loop, and heads toward the city. You watch as it lands towards the western edge. What do you do?
Name:shadow Age:14 Class:freerunner Abilities:basic super sprint Offence: 7 Defence:5 Speed:8 Health: 100% Inventory: kitchen knife, 5 sustenance. Level: 1 kitchen knife adds 3 offence. so techically i am correct. and my class adds 2 speed.
You wheel your truck around and slam down on the accelarator. The angels stop. You blast across the stony ground as fast as you can go. You see an angel flying after you, it's wings buzzing. A man throws you your gun, and he takes the wheel as you take aim at the pursuer. You aim at the joint between it's wings and... BRAKABRAKA! The Angels spins, smashing into a rock pillar. There is a humming noise... and a fist smashes through the pillar, freeing the angel. Suddenly, a boy throws a glass bottle at it filled with petrol. It explodes, destroying the creature. There are whoops of joy. But one old woman screams, and points to the sky. The mosquito races through the air and fires a burst of crackling energy from it's proboscis. A cloud of dust, shot through with static lightning, appears some 50m to your left. There is a canyon ahead, and the truck goes in. Time slows down. You target the Mosquitos engines, but as you do so, the Inhuman girl opens her eyes, stares at the mosquito, raises a hand. A burst of rippling energy scythes out. The mosquito is tangled in it. Time returns to normal, and the mosquito is smashed against the side of the canyon. The girl slumps unconscious. You drive on, down the canyon. Do you stop for the night or continue on?

Advanced suvival skills: You do not need to buy or be given sustenance: you get it all from nature.
Name:Natsu Age:16 Class:Thief Abilities:Basic Lockpick Offence:9 Defence:4 Speed:7 Health: 100% Inventory: Camoflage Netting, 5 sustenance. Level: 1 You stare out towards the horizon, and see flickers of light. The rumbling gets closer, and you begin to make out details. I head over to investigate and scavenge for anything useful. Carefully making my way over in the shadows and rubble of the former prosperous city.
Name:Natsu Age:16 Class:Thief Abilities:Basic Lockpick Offence:9 ( or 12 if you want to equip the Kitchen Knife Instead) Defence:4 Speed:7 Health: 100% Inventory: Camoflage Netting, 5 sustenance, Kitchen Knife. Level: 1
You find a Kitchen Knife, bit nothing else. You find the landing site. There is a man standing next to the fighter, holding a strange gun. He has a visor on, and some sort of metal armor. You see solar panels on the ship, and guess that it must be recharging. Do you a) approach the man from the front and ask him who he is, or b) sneak up behind him and kill him?
You rest for the night in a small cave in the canyon. -1 sustenance, + 5% health. Over the night, you hear the sounds of Mosquitos and, bigger, nastier flying machines. You set off on your journey the next day. After driving for 3 hours, you exit the canyon and arrive at the caves. Or, what used to be the caves... They've been completely destroyed... Dust swirls around, and electrical discharges claw up from the ground. Do you a) set off for the edge of the desert, about 20km away, or b) see if there is anything salvageable among the ruins?
You go on without it, following the lifesign down several corridors until you come to the engine room. The door is sealed, and the lifesign stops in front of it. You reach out... but there's nothing there... Suddenly, you hear a scream from upstairs, near the bridge. Do you a) run to see what's happened, or b) continue searching for the lifeform?
You ask him who he us. Startled, he scans you with his visor., then cautiosly approaches you. You haven't been killed! How long have you been living here? Forever, you reply. Christ almighty... I better get" you back to base. You're not safe here. The Angel fleet is coming. C'mon, get in. He points to the open door. Do you want to go, or stay?
Good idea, 5 items is good, but you can have up to 40 Sustenance. Also, bold the weapon you want equipped.
You find: 10 sustenance, and a couple of rusty swords. You distribute them among the people, and you set off the next day. You arrive at the edge of the desert and make camp. A few hours later, you hear some shouting. You investigate, and find two men arguing. We must kill them all! For the glory of Mithras! No! We cannot! He promised us power... But only if we find out where we are, first. We have to get the map he carries... Do you a) confront them about it, or b) skulk while listening in. Note: you have the map.
You pursue the lifesign, but then you hear more screams, eching around the ship. Suddenly, there is a hiss. The patch of floor where the lifesign was disorts, as if it was being looked at through murky water. The air folds and congeals into a rough, 11 foot tall man shape. Screams echo around the ship, and the thing staggers towards you... Do you a) run down the corridor towards the airlock, or b) attack the creature with your telepathy?
