Do you know how many soldiers were killed by their own officers in places like Germany, Japan, the USSR, China, and Korea? This happens all the time. But it's horrific that this happens here in the U.S during the 21st century.
whats wrong with people. its a tragedy whenever it happens. i mean if a lunitic were to walk to to your school or work place and starting shooting people like your friends and family. would you honestly be thinking "oh this happens everyday its fine" no its not fine you little dumb ass drace

rofl I didn't say its fine. I said its ignorant to give this so much coverage. Theres a lot more important things going on.
There are socially things going on that are more important yes, but it's not every day when someone in the army has a mental breakdown and kills over 15 people and wounds just as many at a training fort, much less when he shouts out something in the language of the enemy that we are fighting Drace.

Ahkay, in that case, I agree with you, but I misinterpreted what you were saying, I thought you just didn't care at all.
Sorry.
Respecting the dead won't bring them back to life.
...and? We don't respect the dead because we want them back to life, we respect them BECAUSE THEY HAVE DIED AND DO NOT DESERVE ILL WORD AFTER THEY HAVE PASSED.

That's fine, then. Sorry I jumped at you, but death is not a thing to be taken lightly. >.<

Your point being? We're not stupid; we know that respecting them doesn't bring them back to life. We respect them because that's the polite and kind thing to do, not only because they have died, but out of common courtesy for their friends and family who are suffering! Jesus Christ, people. Haven't any of you heard the saying de mortuis nil nisi bonum dicendum est? Speak no ill of the dead? I know I had it pounded into my skull. I'm not asking you to cry or anything, because I know these sort of tragedies occur all the time. But don't insult the dead and their friends and family by saying you don't care, just because it's getting a lot of coverage(which obviously isn't their fault.)
So you won't mind when I piss on your dead mother after she was murdered?
Awesome.
There is a difference between not respecting and disrespecting.

But why should I care, and why should I pretend I do? If you live in the past you will miss out on the future.
