But why should I care, and why should I pretend I do? If you live in the past you will miss out on the future.
You should care because several people were murdered. Showing respect or humanity isn't living in the past. It's helping others live for the future. You know what, I think I just said something quote-able.
I think it's sad and all, but what the US is doing in Palestine is worse, but you don't see that on the news, now do you?
There don't do nothing except failing to prove that they understand/control the situasion and showing that are idiots. The US is not doing anything in "alestine".
What does respecting do? It achieves the exact same thing forgetting does, except it takes longer then forgetting.
You're being callous. Has anyone close to you died? Ever? Just because it doesn't achieve anything doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Showing respect for the dead is kind to their family members and friends, and shows maturity in you. I'd be willing to bet that if one of your family members died, you wouldn't be saying their death was stupid just because showing respect doesn't do anything. Don't dwell on it, but don't insult their memory, either. And insulting them doesn't do anything either, does it? No.
25,000 people die from hunger every day. and you say boho because of 13.
So you wouldn't care... if those 13 were part of your family or friends? Those 13 are lives. And just because that is miniscule compared to another problem, does not mean that we should not try to save those lives.
Imagine if you were one of those 13 lives. How would your family, and friends feel?

Obviously they know something when their sending millions of dollars for the Isreal army to kill every Palestenian they find.

I'm not saying boohoo because of thirteen. I'm respecting them, and yes, I am saddened. I also respect and am saddened by the deaths of the many people in the world. You don't care about 13 deaths because more people have died. It doesn't matter; they're still lives, and they should have proper respect. And the same respect is afforded, by me at least, to the people who die of starvation. Just because 13 deaths receive more media coverage than 25,000 does not mean that we acknowledge only the 13 deaths and not the 25,000. If you don't think it's a big deal, then I disagree with you, but I'd let you go ahead and believe what you want. But I draw the line at insulting peoples' memory just because more people have died than them. You're starting to refer to people as just numbers. They're not numbers, numbers don't matter. They're people, lives. And they deserve your respect, if not your sympathy.

Yes someone has, just last January was I sad for a bit? Yes, but I did not stop my life to respect her. And I never said anyone's death was stupid. And no your wrong, if something accomplishes absolutely nothing then you should not do it.

And who says we're stopping our lives to respect these people? We're not. We're defending them from a bunch of jaded idiots who dismiss their deaths as unimportant. And I am right. How do I know this? Because if you're right, then you're being a complete and utter hypocrite. Tell me this. What does being on ArmorGames and arguing with a bunch of other people achieve? Hm? Absolutely nothing, that's right. By the way, could you at least put an effort into your grammar?

First of all, I am in fact a hypocrite, anyone who says they aren't is lying. Second of all, you are taking time out to stop what ever you would normally do to show respect and convince others to also, that is in my opinion stopping your life. Third of all, arguing on ArmorGames gives me something to do when there is nothing else.

Actually, no, I'm not stopping my life, because the time that I spend arguing with you I would simply have spent playing Forum Games or something, and that achieves nothing, so it leads to the same end. That's not stopping my life. You're entitled to your opinion though, I suppose. And I'm not arguing that you shouldn't be on AG, I just really don't like hypocrites, that's all. So you can't use that in your argument.

Just for the record, no one is stopping their life to respect these people. In fact, no one really stops their life to respect anything, except maybe at a funeral.
The only thing I'm stopping my life to do is trying to convince someone that every death deserves respect. Respect which won't do anything to you or take any oh so valuable time out of your life.
And yes, I really hate this is getting so much media coverage too, compared to the other hundreds and thousands of deaths. When my grandpa lost a bout of pneumonia, God rest his soul, it didn't get any media coverage, and A celebrity died around that same time. He got about three days of media coverage, my granpa got none except for his obituary. And that made me angry. But I still took the minuscule amount of time to respect BOTH deaths.
