You are able to hire henchmen at the end of each level. The "Hire Henchman" button is right next to the "Sleep" button.

Here's my tip. Start a game on easy as the sheriff, mass chickens until you have 120 of them and get all the medals you can, then restart and buy the museum and many, many chickens and your good to go. I can't get past level 30 with any other character besides the sheriff, the sniper is good but there's just too many enemies for it, the classes that use the small guns are horrible and the ranger takes forever to reload. The hunter is just plain bad.

i do not have (much) experience with hunter and sheriff,so ill skip em

universal things:chickens(get as many as you can),capable(skill) and at least one companion

rogue:fire your little girl as soon as possible and hire a sniper/militia/noble,the girl is good, but the sniper/militia/noble is better!!!,skills needed
cool,reloading,one shot,active and respective weapon
mod priority(1st to last):impact/leech/reloading(1st),damage/accuracy(nd)

militia:either get most of the offensive skills and get alot of companions(any class),skills to focus on:
cripple shot, supplier, killer,da bomb, and respective weapon skill
mod priority:impact/damage/auto reload(1st),leech/reloading(2nd)

sniper:get one of your companions to help you in killing the air mobs, skills to focus on,
killer,disarm,one shot,power shot
mod priority:impact/reloading/damage,auto reload/leech

ranger:make sure one of your companions have high accuracy weapon, skills to focus on:
reloading, cool, supplier, power shot and respective weapon skill
mod priority;impact/auto reload/leech(1st),damage/reloading

duelist:make sure your companion helps you most effectively
skills to focus on:
reloading, cool, power shot, active and respective weapon skill
mod priority:everything is ok

noble:just make sure you choose the right skills, you companion can also be another noble, skills to focus:
everything
mod priority:impact(1st),everything(nd)

lol i might as well made a new thread

lvl 1/2 house for more companions, chickens, try to get at least level 2 trainer, looters if you're not a rogue, but not alot, and the creators of elona shooter is'nt dumb,so you really have to spend wisely,you/one of your companions should have a maxed cook skill, and have dinner all the time unless you're gonna claim a title, with that, you're sure to level up at least once up til day 28+,if you have alot of medals, which i dont ,you should get the mueseum too,but i think chickens are enough(but you gotta keep on buying!)
(you will need the money to loosen up your upkeep, tax, and wage on your companions,or just have a lighter wallet...)

Other than the laser pistol, the Gravity Gun is a good weapon if you can work around the 9 second reload between shots. It sends a gravity sphere across the map...it's deadly. Put on a reload mod or learn a lot of Reloading skill, and it's quite respectable in terms of DPS.

I would say the best weapon in the game is the Bowgun. The crossbow thingy. I was lucky enough to get a six-slot bowgun in one of my games. Given Autofire, +Fire Rate, and Bow Master, the bowgun is the best weapon in the game for cutting down mobs. Up to 12 hits per shot with maxed Bow Master, large enemies (catapults, tanks, dragons) can get hit 3-7 times by a single bolt, which makes it great at killing large targets.

Let's just say a bowgun with Lv2,2,3 Leech mods and a firing rate of 2.1 per second (autofire) is way too strong.

Checking the red asterik'd game mods bans you from getting certain medals as far as I know (not that they're all that great anyway).

Leech hits randomly (doesn't always work). More levels of Leech gives a better chance, though.

Also, some classes of allies are better than others. Rogues and Duelists are crap for allies, while Militia make great allies due to their random grenade chucking.

Generally, the Ranger is crap, the Hunter is actually okay since it specializes in bowguns (and it's more accurate than the other classes).

Yes, chickens are good. VERY good. Don't bother with the museum unless you've got pretty much every medal in the game. Profit's too low.

Also, impact isn't all that great. Go for damage or reload on a gun or firing speed on a bow. You don't want to do impact all that much. A little knockback is nice, but hardly noticeable--that's what Cripple Shot is for.

So I have the buy 30 chickens and buy 60 chickens medals. Do they stack in value?

Falzar, How exactly is the ranger crap? I got up to day 54 with it and I consider pretty decent. And when you guys post strategies, can you estimate how many days the strategy can take you to? Makes things easier.
Adreline gives your character an energy boost, making him reload faster and higher damage for a short period of time that varies with classes.

I beleive a hunter would be the easiest in terms of gameplay, due to the ability to use a bowgun. dBowguns (depending on a certain skill) will pierce through the enemy. Allowing deaths of certain enemies (like dragons) to be quick. They also allow you to find the cores of heavy enemies much faster. I didn't really know that the core of a tank was right in the middle, until I used a bowgun on it XD.

I don't know how you use a bowgun, they just have too slow a refire rate, too little damage and the angle from which you fire only pierces straight in front of you. A bowgun would be better if you could move your character to line up a shot that pierces multiple enemies, but this isn't the case. The best weapons in my opinion are as follows. Shotguns, rifles, HMG's, Automatic pistols, explosives, pistols, bowguns/bows. Sheriff is the best class in my opinion, massive damage and the Dr.holliday upgrade lets you fire 9 shots with the average shotgun, doing 30 dmg each that's 270 dmg, whereas a bowgun can only do like 12-20 dmg per shot later in the game. The spread also helps when there are massed enemies, and it helps hit the critical point too. The only way i've ever defeated ragnarok is with an auto shotgun, I used it and pumped them full, got a ton of criticals and then switched to a combat one and hit the groups.

I got Ha-Na-Bi by just waiting around on the screen when you beat a level. When the congratulatory window comes up and fireworks start going off, just wait, and i believe that is how to get it
