Definitely Rogue is the easiest in terms of gameplay. You get a gold bonus, but Noble is also a good class to start as because you get an XP bonus.

In terms of weapons, the laser pistol (Small Gun 7) is the best weapon, with high fire rate, high damage, high damage percentages to both armor and air, and a relatively low reload rate of 2750 ms. Paired with lvl. 20 reloading, lots of accuracy and armor/air damage upgrades, I find it becomes one of the best weapons in the game.

For buying order, get a house and a henchman as soon as you can. If you don't you will have to hire henchmen and you won't get very much gold that way. Don't upgrade your starting weapon unless you're confortable with how it fires/how fast it fires. If you do like your starting weapon, then go ahead and upgrade. Don't forget to upgrade the weapons of your allies, as they contribute to your overall success.

At the end of each day, unless you are reforging your weapon or getting a new title, have dinner, because this will allow you to level up much quicker. Also, don't forget to get chickens, because they contribute enormously to your income.

The significance of trainers and repairmen is immense. Trainers will also allow you to level up much faster, and repairmen will repair your castle so that there is a chance that you get a perfect game and receive 30% extra mission reward. They also save you in critical moments when you have low health.

There is an option to access mods to the game, some of which are quite handy. You should definitely check the boxes with red asterisks (*) next to them. Another useful mod is the "Bosses always drop MODs" game mod. Since the MODs they drop are almost always more valuable than the weapons they drop, this generates a lot of gold, not to mention the fact that the MODs enhance your gun. Additionally, you get these MODs for free, and do not have to wait until MOD sales day to buy MODs for your gun.

*Whew* That's a long guide, but I hope it helps!
(This strategy certainly helped me!)

Thanks a lot. Just curious do you mean upgrade your weapon as in using mods?

Ah, no. I mean reforge.
The reason you can't reforge and have dinner on the same day is because it costs 4 AP to reforge one weapon. Of course, if you have an ally who has the Active skill, you can focus that skill and get more AP that way, and once your ally has Active at lvl. 3, you can reforge and have dinner. Note that if you have Active, you only sometimes get bonus AP, but when your ally has it, you always get bonus AP.

while were on ap i recommend that you get the active ability whenever you can. get reloading boost if your using a gun whenever you can. Battlewise my strategy was to take out the ranged guys first (especially the chickens) normally their weak but can deal damage really quickly so kill them fast. kill eagles as soon as they appear. if an enemy is slow then you can normally leave them until later. kill rats quickly by headshotting them just to get a rampage. try to figure out when your rampage is going to end and reload so that you get the double speed reloading boost from rampage. having a high fury bonus helps too. if you get a catapult or suicide bomber on the field kill it as soon as possible. if its a catapult make sure you hit the core or else it will deal out some heavy damage before its dead. I put on the accuracy game mod and got a machine gun as soon as possible. try to get an impact mod for any machine gun cause it works great. if your using a gun with low ammo get the one shot bonus cause then you deal around quadrouple damage every 10 shots. if you have high ammo get the sense bonus which allows you to get criticals even if you dont hit their weak spot. This will make it that your shots get a massive boost to their firepower becuase of how many there are. Kill bosses fast and throw grenades at the boss while your reloading. if the boss has his shield up just move on to another enemy and dont attack him. dont worry about bandits until they get close or until they go into rage. If a bandit goes into rage kill it quick. This strategy allowed me to reach day 20 without dying. i chose the sheriff, rouge, hunter, and noble and it worked for all of them.

I've got to day 50 or so on a noble - a heavy MG modded with damage lvl. 3 and ammo up lvl. 3 is a greay way to win. I can one-shot a catapult with a well-modded mid-level HMG. Since they already do 40 or 50 damage/shot, all you need is more ammo and damage in case you miss.

Nobles are the easiest due to the exp bonus, and for me rogues are the toughest because low-level small guns are awful.

Really? For me, I found that although the Rogue's starter gun, quite frankly, was terrible, he gained the most money and later on had access to the laser pistol, one of the best weapons in the game.
I think the Sniper is the toughest class to play as, mainly because of their awful reload speed. Generally, I got OHKO's (One-Hit-KO's), but then when I ran out of shots it took years to reload.

I had tremendous trouble getting to level 10 with rogue because of weapon limitations. The sniper is a great class if you get a weapon like a hunter's rifle with an auto-reload mod and maybe a leech or damage mod, so you can keep ammo up, and either the wall healthy or the enemies kept back more efficiently.

I also did a really good job with sheriff. Got to day 30 or so, then went and tried the noble

Shotguns are great for OHKOs if you reduce the spread.

Also, I'm firmly behind the belief that HMGs are the best weapon in the game, or the laser pistol or gravity gun.

How exactly does leech work? I placed it on one of my henchmen's guns and it did nothing.

I started with the Militia, unlocked the Sniper then stayed with the Sniper. Building adrenaline is easy as long as you don't fire randomly and the damage boost is amazing.

The gravity gun does immense damage when reforged and modded, but I have to say I like the laser pistol the best. For example, a Laser Pistol MK. 6 and level 25 reloading will get you quite far. I tried the HMG's but they do too little damage againts Armor/Air not to mention the fact that their reload time is awful.

A good starter gun would be the Bowgun, since it can pierce through enemies, not to mention it hits three times on a siege ballista. It normally takes two shots from there to fully destroy it.

The reload time is something I can deal with, and the reforged ones can make short work of air too. Also, they're amazing at dispatching tanks, because they're relatively accurate and the core spot on the ballistas and the tanks are apparent. If you exploit critical areas, the HMGs can be extremely deadly.

I actually think the laser pistol paired with damage/reload MODs is better than HMG's because they have higher damage as well as higher damage percentages (80% Armor, 50% Air) and an acceptable reload time of 2750.
I find the issue with HMG's is there lack of accuracy at range, making the efficient dispatch of tanks and ballistae tedious and ammunition-wasting. If you pair a HMG with an ally with a machine pistol or laser pistol, you're covered while you reload, but I still dislike how long it takes to do so.
Militia, I find, is also a good class to play as because grenades are tossed with increasing frequency as you progress. With that in mind, I say that if you go with HMG's, then do so as a Militia because you're also covered during reloading with grenades.
