They seem to be getting superfluous. Why do you need to explain all these hidden guidelines on how to handle something in separated stickies? If you really want to explain then why not just add the definitions and meanings to each rule in one sticky?
WHO DID THIS? - an example of breaking the rules? Pretty mild.
RPG: Role Playing Games - explaining that Tavern is not for RPGs? It's a Role Playing Game, hence Forum Games.
VS Thread Rules - I rarely saw any VS threads past Jan 09. (exception in Popular Media)
Mozilla Firefox - This is just a recommendation to use instead of Internet Explorer. By no means are we trying to convey that Firefox is required to use Armor Games. A suggestion unrelated to AG is a sticky?
Rules and Topic Listing - Please don't make listings into stickies because they become outdated rapidly and are left dormant.
No more "Rate the Above" threads! - I understand any excessive repeating is unoriginal, but completely banning a topic starter is a bit extreme. There are many loopholes to this rule.
Newcomers Forum - is a perfect example for good stickies.
Something I made is a part of that....so I guess I'm not going to argue with that. Though I have to ask, is the point is this to simply just cut down on all of the stickies again? I remember hearing about issues like this awhile back.

You need to take off your blinders.

At least be consistent in your criticism that all these threads are from last year and are outdated. Most of those are outdated. They're so old no one wants to touch them because they're encrusted with crud from all the dirty mouse cursors that clicked on them. The pushpins are probably crudded stuck to the forum.
Very impractical. The OP is asking how; not giving.
Things happen and a topic becomes more generalized. He's asking how and other people will be asking how or wanting to find out as well. Mods broaden topics in such frugal and efficient methods.
Why are only a few contests stickied? rather them all be unstickied
Those are the official contests started by mods. Any contest started by a mod that's not stickied doesn't need to be stickied.
does this justify their means of existance? If no one wants to touch them then no one will read them.

Then why not start an OP by giving the answers rather than asking the questions? Be much easier to find your answer.

6,043 threads created in Tavern atm. a few threads types doesn't mean a catagory is dominated by them.

That was humor and a jab. If no one (meaning moderators) wants to touch them, why does that apply to all those thousands of views the threads get? The context says that no one is referring to the moderators, not every user on Armor Games. No one wants to touch them, but that's not necessarily true. I'm not about to unsticky someone else's sticky because no one did housekeeping.
An analogy that applies: If you have roommates who don't clean or whatever, dishes are going to start piling up in the kitchen sink. Then after a while, no one's going to use the kitchen sink because it's full of unwashed dishes. Then there is some strange tacit rule that if you use the sink when it's practically unusable, you'll have to wash the dishes, all of them.
This does not justify not washing the dishes/keeping the stickies up, which is why it's humor and a jab. It's just one of those things. The other mods are mostly busy and don't really want to deal with "housekeeping" stuff. I could prod them but I'm not sure if that'll actually do anything.
Then why not start an OP by giving the answers rather than asking the questions? Be much easier to find your answer.
Because we are frugal efficient people. There's no reason to start a new threads when you can hijack one and seed it. Not every user cares what the OP is saying so long as they get the gist of what they think the thread should give them.

That's just ridiculous misleading statistics since it takes into account all Tavern threads ever created without taking into account all vs/or/favorite threads in the Tavern being taken into existence. Then taking into account the number of posts those types of threads get (vs. other types of threads) and the length of the posts in those threads. Spam magnets are spam magnets unless proven otherwise and evidence is needed to prove such, including meticulous data taking with given assumptions and reasoning.
there's still 5 stickies left as "too old to touch". seems to be a trend of these comments.
The context says that no one is referring to the moderators
aww i hadda good analogy if it was for users.

do you need to know everything to provide assumptions? if 3 apples you see are red, do you need to see all apples in order to say "Apples are red."?

procrastinating it then?
too many dirty dishes and you won't have any for eating.
I have been playing around with the thought of merging a good deal of the different stickies (Like putting together rules against vs, games, and general rules in the tavern) but I do not dare to do so...
Most of the stickies (besides the Voidless and Klaus thread) are still needed but needs a good revamp, but those with the blue text has other things to do (with an active count nearing two)and there is probably other things more important than rewriting rules and making the stickies collection less of a collection... Idk..

Your assumption would be "Assume all apples are red." but I'm not sure what that would accomplish.
But if you should assume "All comments/posts less than 7 words are spam." Then one could conclude that there is a lot of spam in the game comments.
procrastinating it then?
That would be true if anyone had time to procrastinate.

True, but rules clearly state that you start eating outside food out of the container (such as sandwiches in the wrapper) up to the point where the trash is twice as much as the trash can/bin will hold until someone actually calls dibs on the dishes so they don't have to clean up the trash that's a sticky mess and weeks old.
