Anybody else beat the game?

The ending is foreshadowed a bit but the gameplay is solid once you get used to movement speed and attacking.

This far I've seen a mace that does 70 damage, a sword with 100 damage and axe with 150 damage. I am in the last location so that is probably the best for those. I am still working on figuring out the others.

Dragon Sword of Nobility

I believe that the Spiked Gauntlets is +40 damage instead of +40% damage.

It's a typo. I think that's not bad compared to all the %s and +s I had to write!

I'm stuck o nte oh snap level in hardcore mode . . . .

I have fully updated equipment - Luemas' ddeadly mace and Cameron's iron axe, the special gauntlets, war boots of kiernan, superior breastplate, etc. my dragon is fully grown (of course) and Arazec has orb, nova and regen maxed out with casting speed at 5.

How'd you beat that level?

The "Oh Snap" level was hard. But what you need to do is isolate one enemy on the screen at a time and fight them, because enemies off screen will not fight you. This level has many enemies so it'll be a bit hard, but just run around the map till you have about only 3 Giants or 3 Skeletons on your map. You can afford to fight multiple Giants or Skeletons at the same time, but always fight Scorpions one on one. If two scorpions are close together, go near one and push it away with your knockbacks.

And if I remember correctly, the best armor at that level is not Superior Breastplate. It is Breastplate of Righteousness. And if you're having trouble staying alive, use dual Mace instead, because they have insanely fast life drain.

My approach was very similar to Bloodshadows, but with different equipment. Sadly I do not remember if I used 2 maces or a mace and a shield. My gut says I used 2 maces. As explained earlier the draw is to get +2 life stolen per hit for each mace. I personally love the +2 running speed. I, like you, kept the Superior Breastplate until the very end as I wanted to get the most amount of speed possible. I wanted speed, because like Bloodshadow points out, I you need to constantly run to isolate yourself from enemies. I like to max out speed so I can get away and run around to replenish health. As he states, you can definitely deal with multiple skeletons or giants, but you need to run around to "heard" them away from the scorpions. So, given enough time you will defeat all but the scorpions. Also, if your health is low. Just keep running around for "heard" the enemies off the screen and wait until your health replenishes. With the scorpions, I attacked them as much as I could and then when they moved their tail to attack me I either ran right in the middle of their bodies (yes apparently there is no actual space encompassing the enemies bodies so you can stand on them) or quickly turn left or right. Just try not to have the scorpion face your team mates. Basically attack a few times, and then quickly move your direction. I am sure either method works!

So, how did you guys beat the King on hard mode? I cannot even get through the introductory fight (yet). I have all the highest equipment (given earlier) and currently have a sword and shield as my weapons. Please give suggestions!!!

IS your spells and dragon to the max. if not, then try to level them up. Also try different weapon combinations such as mace/axe or sword/axe. You should also try the attack run attack method or leave the girl and dragon to fight and occasiionally go and attack the King

I should've grinded myself to level 50 when I was in easy mode. In hard mode, enemies give the same EXP but are way harder!

In the last map, I had to equip the shield with 70% block. Otherwise, a few hits from the knights will kill me. Right now I'm using Mace/Shield because of the faster life drain.

That's what I have: the mace/ shield. I'm on level 49, so the only thing that isn't maxed is freezing (and that doesn't matter here). I guess I just haven't found a good technique for this level yet!! I can't even kill the body guard... don't worry I am sure I will get the hang of it soon!

I have already killed Saul on hard mode. I was level 45, with all but freeze maxed out. Use Mace/Shield. The shield is 70% block, so they'll be missing very often; the mace will help you to quickly regain the HP you have lost.

Spoiler Alert!!!

After you finish Hard Mode, you get sent to the beginning of Hard Mode again, but with your current items. I guess the game repeats itself indefinitely.
