Global warming is real right? I mean the green house effect is real but there is so much controversy about if its man made or not, and even if it is man made will it kill us all. I think that it is man made and it will kill us all, but i want your opinion.

I think that the fact that the persons who deny it's existence have something to gain from it.

ones who believenes who don't:atheist gathering

because the majority of the scientist that are against it work for big companies and are Americans.

humm.. The US Government has spent more than $79 billion of taxpayersâ money since 1989 on policies related to climate change, including science and technology research, administration, propaganda campaigns, foreign aid, and tax breaks. Most of this spending was unnecessary.....

It's just being accelerated by Global Warming.

An Inconvenient Truth is a 2006 documentary film, directed by Davis Guggenheim, about former United States Vice President Al Gore's campaign to educate citizens about global warming via a comprehensive slide show that, by his own estimate, he has given more than a thousand times.

Premiering at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and opening in New York City and Los Angeles on May 24, 2006, the documentary was a critical and box-office success, winning Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature and for Best Original Song.[2] The film also earned $49 million at the box office worldwide, becoming the fifth-highest-grossing documentary film to date in the United States.[3]

The United States have not ratified Kyoto Protocol. The US were responsible for 36.1% of the 1990 emission levels of Annex I countries.
The United States spend billions on global warming research, but they do not had an other choice. The earth is really warming and that's a fact. The debate is whether we have something to do with or no. If we don't do something about it we will feel the consequences regardless of how much the global warming was caused by humans.
Even if that the global warming does not exist, why should we let the companies pollute the air we breathe, the water we drink etc. We live on this planet we have the duty to protect it, cause it's not ours, the earth belongs to next generations.

we don't know how much of global warming is caused by humans. we can only control polution and then we can know for certain. polution is just wrong, and there's no excuse for it.

Warming the air is bad because it makes the ice melt, which raises the oceans rise, which puts coastal cities underwater, and most of the world's population lives in coastal cities.

Its a gradual thing, they have plenty of time to move further back along the cost or to build a wall to keep the water out...

Oh yea because it's just soooo easy to move millions of people and all their things to a new place that you still have to build.

And you think people will just go along with this? They won't start until it's too late.

And you do relise that we could live on mars by the time this has an actual effect, and we whould defenatly have enough research to either prove or disprove global warming and its effects, if it does exist.

If they don't want to move in time its there fault, just like if someone waits out a powerful hurricane in their trailer and dies.
