Global warming is real right? I mean the green house effect is real but there is so much controversy about if its man made or not, and even if it is man made will it kill us all. I think that it is man made and it will kill us all, but i want your opinion.
And I forgot to ad the fact that the avarage cell phone has more teck then it took to get to the moon... Its not like were that for away from getting to mars.
It only takes one key advancement for technology to really boom. An example is the printing press. After the printing press was invented, technology skyrocketed. And that was really only 500~ years ago. So if another key invention is made, such as more resistant metal alloys, portable, safe nuclear batteries/engines, or a machine that quickly converts CO2 to just 02 and C, then the ability to make a colony on Mars in a 1000 years is very plausible.

That's not correct because: the calendar we use was made 428 years ago 1 hour=3600 s 1 day=24 h=86400 s 30 days= 1 month=2592000 s 1 season= 3 months=7776000 s if we suppose that per year the calendar has a 10 seconds mistake we have 428*10=4280 4280 is way different than 7776000. This means that our calendar is wrong about an hour at maximum.

Im failing to understand how our calender is causing global warming. Not to mention that global warming is not occuring.
I believe that global warming is truly happening, and also we just got out of a coldish time. Look what England wore 1700-1800's They wore four layers, if I remember correctly.
With that information, the makes the ice caps melt a little bit, Al Gore sees this, and goes coo coo for coa coa puffs, telling everyone that global warming is going to be the end of us.
With that information, with cars producing gas, and animals farting, here is what I get from it all. Global warming is happening, but not nearly as fast as Al Gore and all the other Environmentalists are saying it is. You know, I'm not an expert, but global warming isn't going to happen for as I live, so I really could care less.
