Of course those of you who have read his marvelous books know that we are talking Forgotten Realms. The creator of Drizzt Do'Urden the Drow and Cadderly Bonaduce the Cleric who has sold over 10 million copies of his books. For those of you who are remembering all the time spend underground with Drizzt in the beginning this shall mostly take place above ground. I haven't played such a game for a long while but they are almost always enjoyable. Until you get a noob DM the likes of which orcs and trolls would feast on were he in the game. Obviously it cannot be as complex as the real game as I doubt we could find that kind of commitment on here.

He's running from orcs. He asks you for help defeating them.

Hey Cyan, you should put your characters health, exp, and feats onto the sheet. I think those are the only things you are missing.

I love how you are all tripping over my character in your mad dash. Sorry I haven't been here, there is war in Utopia.

BTW I was going to put a lot of items in the room that cursed you if you took them with you. DUN DUN DUN.

Oh, you can go back to DMing now. I was going to put a crapload of orcs in that room. Hey, you can't expect level appropriate encounters to drop into your lap all the time.

I will let you go ahead with what you were doing. Being cursed could piss off a character if it stuck with them very long.

Dunno. Don't worry about it. For now, wing it. When one pops up, he can join you. Let's assume that fighter and maybe Beleorion's bard are with you. You are in town. You saw orcs behind the busted door in the (cave? Castle?). What do you do?

Well if I am by myself right now, I can't do shit about those orcs, especially since I am almost dead.

Oh, yeah. Well, you may want to heal up a little. Maybe find a cleric. The clerics in town will heal you for free. They'll even give you a cure light wounds potion if you tell em about the orcs.

Also, keep the following in mind: The orcs won't spend their entire lives in one room; they just heard you kick down the door. Orcs sleep in D&D, unlike LotR.

Cool, you're better if you were hurt.

Btw nice mass teleport
I assume you mean my blatant disregard for whatever was happening before I took over as DM (not really by choice). I couldn't be bothered to figure out what was going on.

how could you butcher my name when it was 1 post up?
I looked at your name but not what I was typing. I also didn't proof read.

If you moved the enemies then there must still be something behind my door.
