Of course those of you who have read his marvelous books know that we are talking Forgotten Realms. The creator of Drizzt Do'Urden the Drow and Cadderly Bonaduce the Cleric who has sold over 10 million copies of his books. For those of you who are remembering all the time spend underground with Drizzt in the beginning this shall mostly take place above ground. I haven't played such a game for a long while but they are almost always enjoyable. Until you get a noob DM the likes of which orcs and trolls would feast on were he in the game. Obviously it cannot be as complex as the real game as I doubt we could find that kind of commitment on here.

A con higher than str for melee? Odd. Same goes for cha and int, especially, because of low dex. This doesn't matter much, as we aren't really playing 100% by the rules D&D, as outlined in the opening post.

Anyway, I think we can assume that he wants you to break down the door.

Alright I will attempt to bust the door down, (I rolled for my stats, I can't help it much)

You get to choose where each number is placed...

This is making me want to bring out the character sheets. :P As in the real ones of course.

Yeah, back in my day, we rolled 3d6 for stats. In order. With a pre-determined class. If your wizard isn't smart enough to cast spells, you figure something else out.

You succeed, though you made a lot of noise.

Lol, how old are you?

I won't answer that directly, but I will say that 3.5 was the most modern edition when I started playing D&D. I believe AD&D used a rolling system similar to the one I described, however (minus the predetermined class bit). I also played a 3.5 campaign using the system.

I don't know. I'll DM for now, just for convenience.

In the room you find twelve orcs, weapons ready. Two attack you with pole arms before you can react. You're hit twice for 3 and 5 damage. Good thing you have that con, eh?

Holy shit man, 12 orcs? a little excessive. I will run back outside! and yell for everyone to come help me out.

Ya and it seems like my HP should be higher than 11 with my high con.... it seems like it should be about 16 or something like that.

Running, eh? Good move. Really the only good move. You see Aquillaine Attis, a human fighter with a longsword, a dagger, and chainmail. You ask him for help.
