Wow, i am blown away by this movie. I saw it yesterday (12/19) in 3D. It is jaw dropping. I cannot believe how amazing the CGI looks and how good the 3D is. After a while it just seems like the 3D just "should be" there. This movie made 27million the first day, it seems it may break some records. I think it is going to take a lot of academy awards.
Also i would like to add that the price of the movie (which is upped a little for the 3D version) was worth the money. Honestly not many movies are worth the $8-$12 a person to see a movie, this one definitely is. If you haven't seen it, GO SEE IT! James and his crew deserve the money.
I know, which it will. If you have any, i mean ANY love for scifi movies, see this. Heck i talked to a friend he made his mom go with him, and she ended up really liking the movie
Saw the movie on the 18th, and then again on the 19th in IMAX 3d the entire move was in 3d, and so were all of the trailers. You should absoloutly check out the 3d version, the sound is great, and the visuals are freaky good!
90% was done on a green screen I bet. I don't think the Best Picture Award should go to a movie that didn't really have any acting in it. Then again, there weren't really any good movies this year.
