In my opinion, while they're good for the economy providing millions of dollars in taxes, however according to most people they're bad for you health-wise. But, isn't everything bad for you in excess if you think about it eating fastfood isn't all that bad if you only eat it once in a while.
Oh yeah, did you guys know that 99% of cattle grown for slaughter have Ecoli circulating through their systems? Want to know why?
Because most mammalian organisms (humans and cows included) require E. coli in our intestines in order to crowd out harmful bacteria. Humans also need the Vitamin K. Most E. coli strains are not harmful, but when they mutate (which can happen at any given time), they develop toxins that cause food poisoning.
Also, go MSG. Never heard a Chinese person complain about it.
I remember when I was small, I went to MacDonalds almost every week (idk how about US but here fast-food isn't too popular). Then I just suddenly thought if it's even worth its price. From that day I eat fast food only if I'm in a reeeaaal hurry or when with some people who buy some burgers. I personally think that home-made food is healthier and cheaper that most fast food. It also tastes better in my opinion.
Well I don't eat at fast food chains regularly, because the food is pretty crappy (besides Subway - some of their sandwiches are very nice), and normally quite expensive for what you're getting. The only time I'll eat fast food is if I'm on a journey and I get hungry, I'll ask my mum to pull up at the Burger King or whatever and I'll get fries and a lemonade. It's not a gourmet and perfected snack, but enough to keep me going.
Well, it is technically a flavour enhancer. Doesn't mean it's not bad for you though.
Right, and so is salt, but people don't go "oh well I think they use sea salt in their dishes, it's not healthy to eat there". The only difference is a slight difference in intensity and the fact that people are used to salt, and hate asians.
i think its neutral if you dont eat but but every once in a while and exercise it dosent effect your health it gives teenagers a job + experience and like you said gives lots of tax money to our gom-mint which is in need of money and....its good...>_>
The only difference is a slight difference in intensity and the fact that people are used to salt,
The difference is that salt occurs naturally in most most foods, and is a necessary part of the human diet. MSG isn't, and is more addictive than regular salt. That said, there is far too much salt in most processed foods nowadays.
Bad. I say that because of McDonalds, Wendys, and, Burger King. McDonalds is fat in between two pieces of bread. Wendys doesn't have enough selcetion. And Burger King is just bad.
Bad how?
So is your mother, but you wouldn't talk bad about her, now would you?
Play nice, that had nothing to do with the topic...
As it's been said just because the food tastes good, doesn't mean its actually good, for example I found out that in America fries aren't actually classified as vegetable, which they're frying it in some weird stuff.
Have you all seen the new McBurrito or whatever it is called? That thing looks horrid. You could not get me to eat that if you fed me cow dung instead. And yes fast food is bad for you.
Arent these fast food fukers chopping down the rainforests. Fast food is bad in pretty much every aspect.
1. Its not real food, you cant live on it. This is not like chocolate tho. Chocolate, no matter how well made or organic, cannot sustain life. Burgers, if made well, CAN sustain life. McDonalds... CANNOT sustain life (well not for long anyway).
2. Choppin down the trees. Nuff said.
3. Jobs? Please! If McDonalds were such good employers then ppl wouldnt be on min wage working for a multi billion dollar company. Also how can working for a company that doesnt care about its food, its employees and the enviroment be a good thing. Its like saying that its a good thing McDonalds are creating jobs in the logging industry for the guys cutting down the forests.
4. It puts other companies out of business. Same old story here, just think starbucks, wallmart etc...
Im sure there are more reasons to hate and distance yourself from these fast food companies, but I cant be bothered. I think a fast food restaurant should have decent food, made fast. Any that do are likely small companies and have my respect.
