Would more of them be better for the site?
What do the people of AG, along with the current mods think about it?
Would it be better to have more or stay with what we have already? Of course I mean more active ones to go along with the current ones.

inloved in stuff.

I am heavily amused by that error. I must be tired.
And of course. There are the top secret meetings that we attend to too. Often they are so secret only half of us meet up, and that only by accident.

Besides me having been mod for some two months, and people are already talking about getting more mods?
It doesn't worry me, really. Yeah, sure, it would be nice to have more people to clean out the games or something, but it is not like we have a huge workload to do. There isn't that many reports atm, and the threads that needs to be taken care of, will be so when we find them.

What about Game reviews?
And how did most of the mods get to be mods?
I haven't heard of most until they become mods.

Same thing, really.
And I don't know, I haven't been here for long, after all. Gantic is of course awesome, and I would have chosen him too, really. A master of merits and he works hard. I guess Zophia was chosen because she was around much and could relate to people. She was like a little hurricane of ... premod, or something. I assume Strop was chosen for some of the same things. A great debater, and follower of the Way of moderation. At least that's what I have heard. Nemo/Noname is precise and does what has to be done, without caring how people will respond. People might find him cold hearted, but that is just because they are too involved in what he stopped.
The rest I don't know much about, really, but Voidy is a bit like Nemo too. He takes a round and cuts out what has to be removed before moving on again. Ubertuna is, to me, here because he judges right. No hurried locks or bans.
But I don't really know. ... What was the question again?

Estel was chosen because of he debate skills, plus he was really active too at the time.

And how did most of the mods get to be mods?

The wheel sees all, and conveniently lands on the best choices.

What about Game reviews?

If you haven't noticed the buttloads of spam being deleted from games right now, and the sudden jump in merits given out, you aren't paying attention. So the mods right now are clearly active and doing a great job.

The way I see it, the amount of mods there are right now is pretty much perfect. If you have too many, there will be a great division in power, and it will be hard for them to get anything important done, because it will take forever or even be impossible for them to get together and vote all at once.

We need more to stop the spam, but NO MORE ENFORCING THE RULES. AG is too strict anyways. More mods wouldn't help in sections like the forums at all. But for things like commenting on games is different. There we needs more people trying to stop it.

I think you mean NewGrounds.

Kongregate too. You see how many they have compared to us, in list form?

Do mods award themselves merits? If, after a few weeks their review is unnoticed, do they just give themself the merit they feel they deserve?

Spam is agisnt the rules. there for If they were to not enforce the rules, they wouldn't be stopping sapm.

And There here ENTIRELY to enforce the rules. thats wha tbeing a moderator is about.

there not here to give out merits, though they can, and there not here to be nice. There here to make the site run nicely for all of you ungreatfull little children, who don't notice how much time they put into the site for you. Just becuause you dont get a merit right away, dosn't mean we need more mods. I personally find it to be a bad idea. The ones we have now do a great job, and I see no reason as to why we should get more.

Ernie, no mods do NOT award them selfs merits. That is why the selection of moderators is so carefull. Becuse they can't take chances of people doing things like that. Other people if they where made mods, would probably do that, but i'm allmost possitive none of the moderators do that.

And right now, there is really not alot of spam. People are just kinda minding the rules, and getting along as they should. Right now, the only spam is in game comments, which really isn't a huge deal. sure, people gain points of spam, and ya da da da da, but honestly, is it that big of a deal that you want to bring more mods in here who couild potentolly mess everything that the current mods have done a great job of maintaning?

I'm gonna leave now. Have a nice day.

It's impossible to stop spam. As long as there are AP addicts, there will be spam.

Do mods award themselves merits?

No. As far as I know it is against the mod code to award one self a merit. From what I remember (this has been brought up before) they will get a warning, and if they do it again they get demodded.

As long as we are all here, game review spam will always be there cause people just what points so they put words like cool that block out the long thought out ones.

Just for the record gantic was modded about 18 October 2009.

Oops, my mistake...
I am heavily amused by that error. I must be tired.

So are we.
And of course. There are the top secret meetings that we attend to too. Often they are so secret only half of us meet up, and that only by accident.

Cenere is hinting at the secret Mod Forum here, you can bet!

Estel was chosen because of he debate skills, plus he was really active too at the time.

Emphasis on 'was'. too bad you don't see him really at all these days, he was a great mod I found.
I think you mean NewGrounds.

Freakentein is right: I once reported flame in a chat room with 25 Kong mods, and every single one ignored me. After that I pretty much left.
AG is too strict anyways.

That's opinion.
No. As far as I know it is against the mod code to award one self a merit. From what I remember (this has been brought up before) they will get a warning, and if they do it again they get demodded.

And most mods are 'honor bound' in other words, their brain will not let them do such a thing. And wouldn't you rather be a mod than getting a merit?
