Anyways I was hoping, that we should make all those 0AP account disappear i mean seriously, I'm on 17 AP AND I'M ALREADY IN TOP 60,000. I know there will be complaints but how about we give them a email, if they don't post in a month they go? I think it would be fair although I wanted just 1 week, but, I know people will think that is to small. Please tell me if there are any flaws in my plan.
1. Not on ag's "To do list" is not an answer I'm just throwing an idea out there. No one has ever actually had one of their ideas implemented right?
2.The answer "It's cool to have an AG account" I don't want to accept since there was so much complaining, how about 1 post comment or rating A YEAR then, seems fair? Plus maybe some people forgot about their accounts when they receive the email that could easily make another member of AG
Ok, now, *sighs* what other complaints do you have?

It is an answer, just not one you will accept. It doesn't make it less of an answer. That idea have been thrown out on the forums 4-5 times before. I had an idea implemented, but it was the Announcement Board. It was easy to get done, and it wasn't going to go through the staff before it could be done. As mentioned, pessimistic reply because I am/was pessimistic and/or realistic.

Were you a moderator at the time? (I have bad AG memory, so I don't know if it was already there when I first came here)

Nice one, Cenere! Before you even become a mod (I know because the Announcement board has been here pretty long).

Yes.
They stay there and do no harm whatsoever.
It's just like rocks in a wheat-field: Would you take all the effort to get rid of them (This is a rhetorical question)? And then, if you were to do that, wouldn't more rocks just pop up? Same with ghost accounts.
It's the same with a messy room. When you want to find what you need it's to messy. And then when it's clean ... well it's easy. Take the effort of getting rid of them and then you can find things easier.
Yes, I love this idea, it would clean up the site of all of the ghost accounts, and more account names would be avalible. All you would need to do is send an email to the email that that account has and say something like your account will be deleted because of no use.
What does it matter if they don't use it? It's not our problem.
Actually, yes it is.
Accounts take up space on the server, much like files take up space on your hard drive. If I made a guess, each profile was 10KB in size. While I have no idea whether this is accurate, I would say that 10 * 400,000 is a big number. 4 million kilobytes is a lot for all that they are.
Regardless, they will eventually start to slow down the site noticeably, if they haven't already.
I wasn't. I ran it through here because it might help to get some more focus on the different contests around the site. It really need to be updated - -
Accounts with 0AP aren't going to make a difference if they get deleted or not. People will just make another one if they so need to.
There are a bunch of people that are relatively known in the forum games, but have never posted outside of it, and some might not even have commented. I think they would be somewhat unhappy if they were told to make a new one when they are both active and known by the username.
