Anyways I was hoping, that we should make all those 0AP account disappear i mean seriously, I'm on 17 AP AND I'M ALREADY IN TOP 60,000. I know there will be complaints but how about we give them a email, if they don't post in a month they go? I think it would be fair although I wanted just 1 week, but, I know people will think that is to small. Please tell me if there are any flaws in my plan.
Allright Cenere... so would you then support the suggestion made in an earlier post, about making it obligatory for AG users to gain at least 1 AP a year in order to keep their account from being deleted? =)
I don't care about the ghost accounts. It is not a problem (Duh, otherwise there would be done something about it by the staff), they are not annoying me, and the only problem there is with them is the fact that people will spam those accounts to gain AP. And that is not the ghosts' problem, that is the stupidity of active users.
One year of no login could award an automatic deletion of a profile. 0 AP or 15473 AP. If the user is a user-no-more, he is only occupying space in the server.

They can't be that stupid now, can they? o_O Assuming they get caught because for this and get punished accordingly by AG?! Still... *shakes head* o_O

Ok Wex, but think of this... hypothetically:
A certain user has an account on AG, then decides to go abroad for a year and stops using the computer completely... Then after the year (and a few days extra of course) is over he decides to login to his old account and... discovers that it's deleted!?! All the games he fav'd over the years, all the AP he gained, all of his friends, his Gold King rank... gone... all GONE!!!
That wouldn't be fair now, would it? *raises eyebrow*
Just as an example: There have been a smaller rush in of old members who have been inactive for ages, but decided to come back. Why? Because they noticed the "You got a merit" email. Merits they wrote more than a year ago.
I'm not very knowledgable about internet memory , but maybe the data for definied ghost accounts can be allocated to a storage system which won't interfere with the AG lag.
Oh yeah, and also it'd be convenient for the accounts in this storage system to be recoverable, if possible, in the event of a returning, previously inactive member.

0 AP ACCOUNTS ONLY. I feel like I'm the only one reading the title.

Sorry for double post but, how about we send them those annoying, "We miss you" emails.
Wow as soon as I saw email notifications, I just thought of ads and then... fake ads... and then... hacks...... and then...never mind. I'm just going to hope what I just thought doesn't become true .
Merits apparently works better.
How would you know? We haven't had those annoying, "We miss you emails" on AG yet have we?

But then all the other people come back too. Like, you know, the people who doesn't get merits? I am getting more and more sleepy (which is obviously why I am online) so if I start sounding more stupid than normally, I am either joking or just... Sleepy. As stated before, I am not very "into" this suggestion, and I don't think I have ever been (if I have, well...). It seems a bit to me like people are concerned about something they shouldn't be. If AG needed space, I will assume they would either buy more space, or get rid of the ghost accounts. And the deleted accounts too, perhaps, since the names are still stored and stuff. After what I have noticed on the previous pages, it seems to be better to keep those place holders, because they make it cheaper(?) to keep AG going. They are not really harming anyone that doesn't deserve it. When they start spray painting you car or break your windows, it will be time for them to go, but currently they are just fun.
I didn't know how you got AP up until about.. well... 2 days ago. I've had my account for maybe 2 years. All I used it for was to play games and comment on them if I needed help.
So maybe instead of deleting them, make them notice the Community easier.
You're reading? Good. Ok. My suggestion is, that every year we send out an email to accounts with 0 ap telling them that they have to get 1 AP before the end of the year, otherwise their account will be destroyed. If they don't make it well sorry for them. If they get deleted they could always make another one (it's 0 ap there wont be a difference). NOW DOES EVERYONE UNDERSTAND.
