Actually now they only look at the ACT and GPA. The SAT is only for one scholarship now. The only extra curricular activities that matter are ones that exemplify community service. (Beta club, archor club, etc.)
lul I remember when colleges looked at SAT, I also remember tanking that writing portion.
I don't really know what I want to do if this actually comes true, I was planning on just being a grunt to pay
yea, the military pays you (scholarship students, and after you graduate and enlist in the armed forces) and gives you a free education, you just have to serve 6 years? was it? I dunno something like that.
And think about it this way, for the most part, even if you have colleges falling over themselves to get you to enrol with them, you'll still have to fight tooth and nail for a job.
Alternatively you could become a hacker, get bored with that, turn to working for the man, and get headhunted by Microsoft without needing any degree. After that, you could form your own startup company, get bought over by Google and become an overnight billionaire.
