1st.It's not illegal to download off itunes,amazonMP3 etc. sites that you pay to get the music or free demo's of songs. 2nd.I download music off limewire all the time(yes it is illegal, but who doesn't?) 3rd:Thankyou for this information
All right, so with the amount of music I have more than likely illegally downloaded, following that rate, I will be fined 4,800,000,000. Four billion, eight hundred million.

Sounds like what they are going to fine BP for the gulf spill....
Copyright laws are BS. 10 to 20 years is good. After that, copyright should be done with. Now copyright lasts I beleive 75 years or something around that time, and after 75 years the copyright can be renewed. This means that copyright laws can last forever!
It's the life of the copyright holder +70 years after they die.
In Alabama placing salt on railroad tracks is punishable by death. In Globe, Arizona playing cards in the street with a Native American is illegal. In Florida it's illegal to sing while wearing a bathing suit. In Kansas it's illegal for restaurants to sell cherry pie a la mode on Sunday. Michigan state law says that a woman's hair legally belongs to her husband. In Oklahoma people who make "ugly faces" at dogs may be fined and/or jailed
See, the US is full of senseless laws. I think downloading falls into that category
downloading does not fall into that category, how ever, the fine does. 80,000 dollars for 1 song? yet you can shop lift the same CD and only have to pay 2,500? you even get more songs then just downloading them.... another example of why the law fails.
