They are both one and the same, christianity and Islam follow the same god, and yet they create wars between each other and muslims call christians "the misguided" or "those who can be saved". The Qu rann is litterally a sequal to the bible and Muslims believe that jesus was a previous prophet.

I thought it was pretty obvious; those two and judaism are all the same Abrahamic religion stem thing lol they jsut build on one another. They ahve similar cores and set ups but varying beiefs. A muslim would think christiams are misguided beacsue they aren't following the "right" rules etc. to get into paradise. Just the same as Jews would think Muslims and christians aren't doing the right stuff etc. I would presume.

Im not trying to change opinion, regardless of the crazyness of it all (religion and far more besides) I want to let christians and mulslims know they are worshipping the same god. I want them to know that Allah and christian GOD are one and the same. If they go ask their religious leaders, they will hopefully get a straight answer from them.

I think youll find its christians not muslims who are more commonly ignorant of it. there is great historical precedent for islamic religious tolerance for other 'eople of the book' (ie., the old testament, or for them, the older testament) as seen in the medieval caliphates and the ottoman empire. christians have been typically pretty ignorant over the centuries and treated the followers of islam like dirt.
It really doesn't matter that they are the same god though.... what matters is how they believe they must appease the god. Which regretfully clashes from time to time.
Considering all 3 preach doctrines of peace above all else, i dont see why they should. its just people using god to get people going. take the violence in nigeria between christians and muslims. there is no actual reason for them to be fighting. merely local tribal leaders using one person from one faith getting promoted in local government position to show that the other group is being discriminated against and therefore its ok to wipe them out. its the same everywhere.

Regardless of being true or not, I could just as easily say that the Islam extremists have treated the world like dirt by blowing themselves up and celebrating the death of "unbelievers"...

The fact they believe in a god is preposterous but like I say it is the way they praise him which is important and that differs..... who he is isn't important. (though obvioulsy if it is the same god they should agree on how to appease him lol)
As for the actual fighting it ridiculous..... during the crusades the pope said all non-christians weren't human so it was ok to kill them and soldiers woulds till go to heaven and not break the "thou shalt not kill" commandement.

It is a bliss I have learned to live without. And as for subjects that I AM ignorant on (there are a great many) I am not happy with this. I suffer the human curse of curiosity.
A bit of both really. I dont suffer fools too well but Im learning to keep my debating shoes on when sparring with racists, sheep and religious extremists.
