They are both one and the same, christianity and Islam follow the same god, and yet they create wars between each other and muslims call christians "the misguided" or "those who can be saved". The Qu rann is litterally a sequal to the bible and Muslims believe that jesus was a previous prophet.

Are there any christians/muslims who do not know this or does anyone dispute this info.
Regardless of grayhams VIEWS.... sorry... ahem... VIEWS... on ignorance, it is a fact that REGARDLESS of HOW you worship this deity, it remains the same figurehead of a monotheistic religion. Grayham... everything is about perspective, and yes... its OK to call someone ignorant, stop pickin at straws.
So my OP stands, but I will maybe reword it.
The main monotheistic religion in the world is fighting each other, whilst each sect of it pushes its own views as "the right way", says its about peace and love, and proceeds to go on killing each other.
And I know one thing from the muslims Iv met, they ARE more clued up, thats very correct, BUT they are also MUCH more devout, which scares the crap outta me. In general muslims believe that chritians can be saved and are just misguided... but if Islam was a ruling religion... I would be dead... an unbeliever. I dont care if MOST muslims wouldnt kill me, cos there are plenty who deffo would...
Actually there is prolly alot of the world that would like to kill me, and the majority would follow (wait for it)... the same monotheistic religion...
Right now Im having an argument with a muslim on a BNP youtube page.(British National Party, i.e. racist party that had a recent image change and was forced by law to allow non white europians to join after court order was threatened in 2009)
Im a kafir. The unsavable. This guy is unhappy that Im arguing about Islam because I have not read the quorann. He is unhappy because he says the white christian threw the first stone all those years ago...
This is the problem with Islam. Unshakeable faith. Maybe I dont mind someone being a bit of a dik... but to be nice to someones face, but think of them as a lower life form because they dont follow your book is... well... in my view, much worse.
At what point is religion offering the wellspring of love, harmony and fellowship it seems to preach.

Islam has no problem... it's the Muslims. Quran says that we are all equal and are only better than others if we are humble and kind. If we believe that all unbelievers are wrong or are inferior, then we are in the wrong.
But in that way you could say christianity has no probs, its the christians etc...
Of course its always the people in the end, so sadly there are a great many muslims who are arrogant in their faith (and a great many more christians). If religion taught people to be humble about the world and care for thy brother then I rekon it woulda worked by now.
Nope, instead we have two factions of the same god causing 99 percent of chaos in the world.
