Well I know there are plenty of contests about drawing and the Art Skills Competition overshadows most of them leaving to wither away, a few manage survive because of dedicated judges...
So My goal is not to create an art thread based on a single individuals capabilities but rather a contest based on teamwork and communication. So I shall introduce the rules specified to this competition:
1. Entries is to be created between 2 or more individuals, teams sizes do not matter but take in consideration more people usually means more problems...
2.A team must declare its members before it is allowed to post any entries or rough works. Try to have some one post a list of whose in whose team...you can create a team name and even a logo, try to keep it relatively small, 150 by 300 or smaller would be acceptable
3. Team members are not allowed to switch to some one else's team, not until the next theme has be decided.
4. The Art must contain all artists sigs(signatures), that is anyone who contributed to the entry as proof of a collaboration.
5. Teams will have about 2 weeks to post their final entry.
Basic art forum rules apply like original work and no nudity and such...
The winning team will choose the next theme.
This thread will accept rough drafts/unfinished entry posts and support communication between the artists but is not necessary to any collaboration. I'm promoting this because I would like to see discussions related to the topic of the thread rather then other things...though theres a chance of it leading to other things.
yea thats it Orion, btw they think they are vikings...I would like too see them sail a wooden boat across a pond B)
I'm actually not too bad at rowing. So a small wooden boat across a slow stream (dunno where I'd find a pond), sure, I'll have to get someone to take pictures next time I get to rent one...
PS: We do not think we are vikings. Cen likes to make viking jokes and I'm liek "OmggorgeousdragonswithsillyvikingsattachedSQUEE". PPS: Several friends of mine enjoy drinking mead. If I didn't generally dislike alcohol and reject when offered, I'd probably have gotten a taste for it too. It's not just a viking thing. :P
Isn't that quite rude to tell us to row around a little pond, when our entire country is surrounded by ocean? Even when you are in the middle of it, we have less than a two hours drive to the nearest beach. Heck, I live in one of the bigger cities, and I can walk down to the water in less than 5 minutes. My parents live 20 minutes walk from the beach. My grandparents can drive to the water in some 5 minutes. It isn't for nothing we have been one of the greatest seafaring nations (Until the British decided to screw us over), and one of our biggest trades is still sea traffic.
Also, mead is sweet and sharp at the same time, so what's not to love?
I still believe that if we Scandinavians really wanted to, we could become as much as a hazard as we were back then. Of course, only if people suddenly decided to throw all their guns and bombs and stuff out, but still...
Anyway, ma teammate left for da Thoadsy, so I might even be able to do my assignment.

Thinks about drawing Cen as a viking
this is a talking fish-bone! COME ON PEOPLE! I DARE YOU, COME FIGHT LIKE A REAL VIKING! GRRRR!
So its been a few days since anything has happened here...I was wondering if ya'll have formed teams yet? also I may judge this round, cannot really participate cause all my final exams are coming up but I think judging shouldn't be a problem B)
