I am one who loves to read. So, as a result of not knowing where to start reading, I turn to you, AG. I am currently reading the Dragonlance Chronicles, and then I plan on reading Dragonlance Legends after that. But after that, I don't know what I'll do. Any suggestions?
Instead of opening a new topic I think this will do nicely here, let's see how it works.. I want to start reading fiction written by H.P. Lovecraft, but I don't know where to start since he wrote so much! I already looked a bit and heard that good stories were The Call of Cthulhu, The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath and Shadow over Innsmouth.
What do you think of it? Can someone recommend me some of the many stories, or knows of a good one?
It is an autobiography about his life. His dad dying, him breaking his neck, and his face getting partly paralyzed. The doctors didnt think he would ever play professional tennis again but he proves them wrong.
Pick up anything by Orson Scott Card, Anne Rice, H.G. Wells, or John Grisham. Terry Brooks is my favorite fantasy author, and Dostoyevsky is wonderful as well.
I'm into fantasy, and The Black Library has some awesome Warhammer books. If you want to try them, The Ravanor series by Dan Abnett is a great place to start. Or Eisenhorn, also by Dan Abnett. Happy Reading

Eisenhorn is three books combined and The Ravenor series is 3 as well. And they don't look too long at first, but there's a butt load of words on a page XD
I have read several of those. I plan on reading most of those recommended so far. Still reading Dragonlance. There are a hell of a lot of them, wrtten by a lot of different authors. I plan on reading all of those written by the original writers, then I'll think about the ones by the authors.
gtfawjkjg, i am replying: A series consists of 4 or more books. A trilogy is 3. A saga... I'm not sure. Haha.
Anyway, I know some really good book series! There's Redwall by Brian Jacques, of over 20 books. (I kinda got bored of that series, though.) The Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke. Saint by Ted Dekker. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. (All ages... seems like a childrens' book at first, but when you read the whole thing it's really touching. ) Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. (A kind of depressing romance) Nicholas Sparks is a well-known romance author and lots of people enjoy his books. Even boys would. They aren't necessarily girly romance. After all, they are by a male author. I don't know how much you are into manga, but consider reading it. My fave is Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. It consists of 23 quick-readable volumes. A ve-e-e-e-e-e-e-eryyyyyy touching series. My brother likes it, but I guess it depends on your personality (if you're a boy) on whether you like it. Several boys do, but idk... Your profile (i just checked it heehee) says you are 21, so you might not like Manga.
