I am one who loves to read. So, as a result of not knowing where to start reading, I turn to you, AG. I am currently reading the Dragonlance Chronicles, and then I plan on reading Dragonlance Legends after that. But after that, I don't know what I'll do. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a series... If it is, series books usually have more than 2 books, right?

Yes and no. I think you're confused. Dragonlance Chronicles and Dragonlance Legends are their own respective series, though they are related.

Yeah you should put what genres your into so we can suggest books your more likely to be interested in. Other things like the length or if the book is in a series would be nice to include as well.

Fantasty,sci-fi, pretty much everything that isn't nonfiction. And I like both really long books and really long series.

Hmm, I only read books with 550 pages at the most would you consider that long?

550 pages? While certainly not short, it's also not very long either. However, it sounds readable. As long as it's a series. Single books bore me. XD

If you like fantasy/adventure and fantasmal puns, you would love Piers Anthony and his collection of books.

His book collection. Go look under the Xanth series for my personal favorites

Obviously, he's a pretty old fellow. He's written books from the 50's and his latest book is from 2010. Have fun reading them when you get to them!

And thank you Freakenstein. I would like to point out he's the first to actually tell me some books to read.

The Forever War, by Joe Haldeman.

It isn't very long, but it is one of the best sci-fi books ever written.

If you like sci-fi series, perhaps the Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov? But you have probably already read those...

And I'll throw in Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A Heinlein, just to complete the whole retro sci-fi thing. Also it's a great book. And decent length (but not a series).

Well, I abandonned fantasy litterature a long time ago but on the sci-fi side I can assure you that Isaac Asimov is a fabulous author, you should look out the first tome of the robot cycle. Also, Jules Verne is an awesome writter.
As for myself I turned to more philosophically imbued texts, one of my favorite novel writters would be Herman Hesse, who dawdle with realism/surrealism and even some fantastic (Steppenwolf for example).

Now it' my turn to recommend a book: Soldier X. It's not a series. It's not even long. But it's my favorite book of all time. You guys should all read it. It's awesome.
