For instance we know more about Mars than we do the Ocean. One of the reasons I dislike NASA to a point. T_T All that money could be used to more know about our own planet and yet they want to know about Mars? Their logic baffles me.
If you can't make it to Washington, the University of Santa Barbara California has one of the leading programs.
I wouldn't suggest going to the army if you have another option.
Join the club. Not to blunt or anything, but its what I wanna do. I feel strongly about this, and the only thing that can stop me is not getting in (wow, that sounds cheesy). And theres always the handy-dandy recruiting station just down the street.
Anybody going to Ivy League? Or wanting to go there?
Eh, I was considering Columbia but I think it would be better for me to go top tier liberal arts as I'm not really sure what I want to do with my life.
rofl samy that's what I was thinking. Perhaps he meant University of Techniology Idaho? Illinois? I have no idea.
Who doesn't want to go Ivy League?
I wouldn't, because the only way that'd be possible for me is to pursue some kind of post-graduate studies... while working in the US. The problem with that is that in order to work in the US I have to sit the USMLE, and I have no intention of going back over the basic bio sciences that I no longer use in order to do that.
Many a consultant working in Australia has related the story of "I want to work in the US" *looks at USMLE textbooks* "Nah, stuff that." Personally I think that requirement should be abolished, but then again Australia's pretty hardcore with their medical qualification recognition requirements too.
However I might be tempted to pursue doctoral studies in the UK, or Canada...
