oh, so that is what caps are... ok :P well if they had waited for the ships to reach the Israeli waters, there wouldn't have been that fuss, right?
If Israel had waited until the Turkish ship went into Israeli waters, then I don't really think the Turks would have put up such a fight, unless they were really terrorists in disguise...all nine of them...being shipped over secretly to make change in Gaza...by importing slingshots and marbles.
Israel is surrounded by hostile neighbours, of course that they won't allow ships to enter Gaza without knowing for sure what are those ships transporting. They just can't let their guard down.
For all of you against Israel being able to search vessels docking at their own port which they have declared closed what would you have them do; let all ships be able to transport any goods to the Gaza Strip?
I mean I'm all for a life of the quarantine/blockade but with the right of the Israeli government to search all incoming ships.
I don't see what are you trying to say yielee. You have to respect territorial integrity, if you are not allowed in than you are not allowed in. You can't just stroll into another country, no mater what your intentions are.
@Milos, Imagine the Bulgarians are at war with Greece and they tell you that you can't enter Greece, but you're headed that way anyway, and while your still in Serbia they attack you.

That did happen in 1913. No one objected. You think what Israel is doing is wrong, I just think that they have right to be extra cautious. I'm not saying that their actions are correct because I can't judge that.
