I suppose that's a few. Lets hope map packs are not ã10 a piece, otherwise multiplayer is going to get horribly dull.
True, it's a cheap little 'trick' they attempted to pull in making you buy other maps. Bloody rediculous.
Uh oh. Looks like breaking the game makes the most money, eh?
Not necessarily, due to the close-quarter warfare involved with SMG's as well as their hip-fire nature, it is reasonable to assume that it will only be useful for more... 'sophisticated' players. It will also prove useful as a combination with Bling, which I believe is now called 'Warlord' and moved to the second tier perk. Marathon is also increasing limited sprint (not making it unlimited) but is now third perk, lightweight is the first perk. This will be good for people whom prefer to 'rush'.
Also, there seems to be a few sniper locations on these maps which is exceptionally useful and I actually appreciate nearly everything Treyarch has done - 'nearly' because from what I know, Shotguns effectiveness is drastically lowered, and moved to a primary weapon.
But, according to another source, it seems that it takes significantly high firepower to put someone down. Why is this good? You will need good aim! Hip fire will be near-useless unless you are disgracefully bad (no offense) if it carries on, which is very nice indeed.
Also, from yet
another source, I believe nearly all snipers one-shot one-kill (stopping power and juggarnaught is absent in this game, and thus the flat damage done by a weapon is the only damage done by a weapon), incredibly useful. I will enjoy not having to give up a perk for such a blatantly useless thing.
I also like how they've split the equipment:
Lethal - Frag Grenades, Semtex and a Tomahawk
Tactical - Tactical Insertion, Claymore, etc.
Special - Decoy, Smoke / Stun / Flash (the usual) grenades.
Lethal is split between desirable but non-required weapons which can prove useful on a multitude of situations, whether its sticking an enemy group or simply cooking a frag-trap, it allows more utility and flexibility.
Decoy is new within Special Grenades, it simulates dots on the Spy Plane whilst giving a realistic illumination of fire. This will be best for observant players whom knows the strategy involved with specific players of the opposing faction, and use the Decoy accordingly. If this is not prefered, you can simply blind or disorient an enemy to give an incredible advantage for the short-term.
Tactical is also great as a split, as it allows more strategic thinking within player ranks which also specify a characters role to a larger degree.
All the customization involved in Black Ops will be very good for clans, say Green aim sights will be for the backbone of a clan in a fight. Orange or yellow will be those whom absorb fire or gather attention, whilst still maintaining their lives. Red will be those whom attempt to scatter enemy ranks and (if you get enough kills) demoralize the opposition in a huge margin.
Anyway, talky talky talky. See you all!
