But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.
Yes, but they're halving the resolution. Your picture quality will not be nearly as good, as on 360 they're dropping the resolution to something like 700x400. I would rather go for the higher resolution than 3D in details that crap.
Halving resolution? Holy crap... I have my resolution nearly 3x that of 700x400, having it that much lower will be disgusting. Not to mention PC will be better as it requires more skill in general but also has dedicated servers - which is great.

Generally the people whom are hyped up and are enjoying the game (even below expectations) are the ones who bring it down after its release. So yes, hyping it up won't do much good, honestly.

In a way, yes. The people who were so hyped up on MW2 are mainly immature in comparison to other gamers (or people).
It's mostly that they neglect the fact that the reason people don't like it is because of the people themselves, their nature (most often with people aligned with loving MW2) is just to blatantly insult someone, or in other ways defend themselves or direct the conversation into another topic.
Such as, my brother in law. He tries convincing me to get Xbox-Live, I say no, I ask why it's so much better than PC (especially since all it'd be for is MW2), he just says 'it is'. I ask why does he moan and rage all the time (he is extremely bad) and he mentions its because of his attitude to others, if you don't do it, 'they're safe'.
Then why does he do it? He is the main type of person I despise in the game, ironic 'eh?
My point is, the people that will love the game and preordered it (at such a rediculous price, I might add) are the ones whom make others regret getting it altogether. Simply because of their @ss-hat nature and illogical standpoints in these kind of debates.
Of course, any of the players would class this as an 'argument', since they lack the knowledge required to draw upon their testicular fortitude and admit they're wrong, instead persisting through a neverending zig-zag or bore just to maintain his worthless point and in the end look 'hard' infront of his retarded friends.

There's one thing that I have encountered on XBL; attitudes spread like wildfire. If you are nice to someone, they will often be nice to you. But if you say even one thing that is mean, they will eat you.
Seriously. The problem is, that very few people are nice to each other. That attitude that your brother-in-law has is the exact problem with XBL. No one is willing to be nice, in fear of the Mockery and shiz that will follow. But the truth is, most people will be nice if you approach them in the right way. But very few people do. Which creates the stereotype of squeakers, gangsters, and smack talking XBL players.

Except boosters. Boosters always talk sh*t. Oh and also those guys with gamertags like XxUMP45Sm0k1nw33d420xX that most likely hacked to 10th prestige and go like 3-30 by the end of the match. Or maybe that's just from my experiences. Then again, I do play on PS3.

Text signature. Not difficult to add to every post and allows you to recognise who's typed out the post quickly. Does good as a replacement for gif and image signatures that would not be too appropriate here.

Just thought I'd fix that up. Another nuisance are people that have names beginning with i, like they're some kind of Apple product. Unfortunately, they have yet to realise Apple products are crap.

The gameplay looks awfully... MW2ish. Treyarch has released trailers and videos about the features, and the things that you can do in it. But have they released much gameplay videos? Eh... not much. From the videos I have seen they looked awfully like MW2. In the gameplay video, the player was actually camping by the entrance of the door, waiting for enemies to be streaming in.
I'm afraid it's going to be the same game as MW2, but with *ahem* 'customization'.
I don't even care if the gameplay is good or bad anymore as long as it's kind of playable, because I just remembered the idea of theater mode. Sure it's not original, but that's the one thing I'm looking forward to the most. I love the idea that you can edit out good clips and edit them. There's even a Machinima studio and editing thing.
